Hotel was good and the staff were excellent. Not that there is no parking on the site and it's about a 10 min walk to the car park downhill.
Shower took a few minutes to heat up, I guess to be expected in a cold place. Doona could do with a replacement. No spoons in the room which was a bit random and also no iron (you will need to ask reception).
Other than that does its job for the location.
Situated in the heart of Thredbo village, Thredbo Alpine Hotel is just 2 minutes' walk from the Kosciuszko Express Chairlift. This charming historic property offers on-site restaurants, bars and...

I first stayed here in 1972. It is still a wonderful place to stay. The beds are bigger and better and the bathroom has been updated a little. I would stay here again any time.
Located at the foot of Mt Perisher ski fields, guests can enjoy ski-to-door access, equipment hire and ski lessons.

I don’t typically leave reviews however The Hotel Manager Josh was exceptional. Even though it was the end of the season and reduced guests Josh went above and beyond in every way. Room upgrade, prim parking, helped us carry out luggage in and out, late checkout at no extra cost. From someone that travels frequently Josh is one of the best staff we have come across. We will be back 👍
Offering a convenient position within Thredbo Village, House of Ullr is just a 5-minute walk from the Valley Terminal and is nearby the mountain's multiple chairlifts.
YHA Thredbo is located in the heart of Thredbo Village, within Kosciuszko National Park and 400 metres from the bus stop on Banjo Drive.

Very well located property, close to the main attractions (chairlift), tracks and restaurants/shops. Eli and the team were lovely and always happy to help.

1. This hotel is NOT at Perisher Vally and SHOULD NOT consider as accommodation if someone search hotel around Perisher Valley. It is claimed to be at Perisher Valley when I purchased but it is at Charlotte Pass. 3 days before confirmation date, an email has sent to me saying they are so far from Perisher and requires $120 per day if I want to go and return. And the timetable are very limited. I was so mad at the first day. The only transport is provided by them and it takes 1h single way as it is full of snow.
2. Dirtiest place of this world, I would mark this room as a garbage bin. You can see all kind of rubbish under and around beds. You have used plastic bags, used tissues, even half Oreo …. You have no quilt…. What you have is two layers of sheets and two half size blankets in between , which are full of yellow stains. Toilet smells like man public bathroom. Water is feculent. One day the oversnow transport is cancelled but no one told us. And which makes me successful wasted $700 for courses and lift tickets.
3. After discuss with the staff at Charlotte Pass office they promise to contact Perisher Valley for my cancellation and refund. Good news they did nothing and Perisher Valley refused to do anything.

The location and scenery even in summer is what attracted us to the area. It delivered and I would recommend it. No doubt in winter it would look beautiful and we will venture back for another stay. The Stilwell hotel was very close to the snow fields. The main complaint was there was no fridge in the room. As it was only $99 a night it was good value.
