We loved the downstairs dining area, especially of a morning. The breakfast exceeded our expectations, and there was always a wide range to choose from.
In our room, the bedding was very comfortable and the blackout blinds were a 10/10. The bathroom was spacious, and we loved the overall vibe.

First time to Byron Bay - absolutely loved it! Super relaxing and very chill. The Surf House backpackers was the perfect accommodation for the relaxed vibe of my trip. Went to 'Dip' for breakfast each of the 3 days I was there. Can't wait to come to Byron again!

Excellent beach. Nice walks that are easy to get to.
Excellent beach. Nice walks that are easy to get to. Flat so easy to walk around - plenty of good restaurants. Has other facilities like supermarkets very handy. It is a busy place so if you don't like lots of people it may not be for you.

Coming into Byron Bay was bumper to bumper traffic which put me off, it was the same leaving Byron Bay when we went off to do a day trip.
I was told that it had gotten so expensive, the workers couldn't afford to live there so they lived out of town and commuted. Hence the traffic.
I had visited Byron Bay before but the town, to me has lost it's charm. Too many high end shops have put an end to the sleepy, alternate lifestyle i remembered. Even the trip to see the lighthouse our parking was charged

Just a beautiful place and the markets were superb.
Just a beautiful place and the markets were superb. And music at the beach was awesome. So many shops and all of good quality. Miss Margaritas the Mexican restaurant was beautiful and loved the walk to the lighthouse through Warrego Beach. And the solar train to Northbeach was so cool.

Comfortable and warm welcome with easy and safe parking at the back of the property . The property was quiet , well located both for a short walk into the town and an interesting and "whale watching" walk up and around Byron bay lighthouse .
Bed was very comfortable , hot shower much appreciated after sea kayaking and morning pastries and muffins much enjoyed .
Thank you Katie for all which made our stay so memorable
Byron Bay is beautiful.
Lovely beaches, great shopping and dining options.
This house is fantastic .
We had a wonderful family holiday.
We particularly loved the fabulous entertainment area, so spent most of our vacation in or near the pool.
Nights were pleasant, with air conditioning in all the bedrooms.
We didn’t want for anything.
Great cooking facilities, towels and linen provided .
We didn’t want to go home!
Perfect location close to the beach and in the center of Byron Bay, ideally located close to coffees, restaurants and bars. The single rooms are comfortable and quiet, equipped with AC. It is quiet after 10pm and the house rules are respected. Big shared kitchen with all equipment, many fridges, places to store food. There is also a rooftop with some activities organized.
Nice large room. Very clean. Hotel is located next to a tiny shopping centre, with a fantastic bakery and superb pizza place. The enormous and beautiful beach is not far. Byron bay is at 5 min drive.
The house was beautiful. The photos do not do a justice to the property. Owner was incredibly nice. I will be looking at staying here again if I return to Byron Bay!
