We only stayed here for an hour only because there was an accident outside on the main road works which caused the water to cut off. So as a family we decided to go to another hotel.
Water may have come back that evening but with two small kids we couldn't risk it.
The staff were amazing, we saw the room and it was extremely comfortable and well equipped with everything.
We would have stayed there no doubt, if it weren't for the water issue.
Thank you for being so accommodating and they gave us a refund on the spot.

The place was great - just a little expensive for a hostel type place with a shared bathroom. Mens' bathrooms are never great when shared so it's not the fault of the property, just the young blokes that use it.

I've been travelling here for ~40 years. The town has changed heaps, but the ocean and remaining vegetation has not. It's mind blowingly beautiful. I acknowledge the custodianship of the Bundjalung (Arakwal) peoples for their ongoing care for Country - we all relax, recharge, and party on their stolen lands. Sovereignty was never ceded.

We holiday in Byron Bay because of two things - the amazing beaches and the variety and quality of the food. The beach is north facing and sheltered, so waves are not too rough - especially at Clarkes Beach.
Then, for lunch and dinner there is a great variety of cafes & restaurants to choose from.
We also love the vibe created by so many different backgrounds of the people who live there or are passing through.
If the weather is a bit sad, the hinterland had lots of scenic drives to fill in a day or half a day.

My first time to Byron Bay... absolutely fantastic location... had a beautiful beach... great selection of shops for everyone's tastes... great cafes, gelato, restaurants, bars and pubs... a great selection of eateries for everyone... easy, clean and all within easy walking distance to accommodation... thoroughly enjoy our stay and would definitely recommend for all...

First time to Byron Bay - absolutely loved it! Super relaxing and very chill. The Surf House backpackers was the perfect accommodation for the relaxed vibe of my trip. Went to 'Dip' for breakfast each of the 3 days I was there. Can't wait to come to Byron again!

Excellent beach. Nice walks that are easy to get to. Flat so easy to walk around - plenty of good restaurants. Has other facilities like supermarkets very handy. It is a busy place so if you don't like lots of people it may not be for you.

What a gorgeous house. Such a beautiful and well styled space. Felt homely right from the start which we loved. Big enough to share as 2 families, but also enough room to spread out and get away from one another if needed. The pool and outdoor deck area is an awesome spot to chill and relax. Kids enjoyed playing games on the lawn and hanging by the firepit at night. Short walk to the Byron Bay general store cafe. Short drive into town (or out of town!) Easily accessible through the communication sent - this was appreciated.
The house was beautiful. The photos do not do a justice to the property. Owner was incredibly nice. I will be looking at staying here again if I return to Byron Bay!
