This accommodation is spacious. It is a bit old but well-equipped especially the kitchen. You can make meals for the family and enjoy. A washing machine is provided too. The host is very nice. He bought a new toaster for us and provided a free parking space. The bed is comfortable. The location is outside Salzberg but near a train station. You can go to Salzberg by train direct.

I rarely write reviews but can’t say enough good things about Hotel Zum Hirsch! The hotel was just renovated and is absolutely stunning. The spa services are complimentary, the rooms are beautiful and comfortable, and the staff was helpful and kind. It was an easy 10 minute walk to the Old Town, and they held our bags after check out so we could continue exploring before catching our next train. We will be back!

The room was a good size for the two of us (couple) and there was plenty of hot water to go around. There's a great ramen place just down the road. Was awesome to have a mini fridge, though a microwave would have been super. They stored our bags while we explored Salzburg and all the staff we interacted was friendly and able to speak English. Came with free water in the room. The price of the room was reasonable. And the walk to the room from the train station wasn't bad.

The hotel had great character! They still used hand written register and actual key for the room. The room itself was a little old but clean and the bed was comfortable. There was no air conditioning so I had to open the window and May was cool enough and we had no problem. It was on the side street, it was not too noisy. Breakfast was sufficient and they served breakfast with fine china. It was close to the train station.
