If you are into art and architecture, this city is a must. There are so many places to visit that one would probably need a few weeks to get to see everything thoroughly and enjoy them!
Schönbrunn Palace, Alnertina, Muesum of applied art (MAK) and St Charles’s church were among my favourites. There are many more that I didn’t get to visit during my 4-day trip!

1. TRANSPORT :I used the weekly transport card, very easy to purchase online. Thanks to him, I had a discount on the train from and to the airport, I used all means of transport - tram, metro, bus, I went to the end of the line and saw wonderful things. The waiting time was a maximum of 10 minutes - Saturday/Sunday, and the schedule is respected exactly.
2. FOOD: I recommend Bauerbrau-Gumpendorferstrasse, Brandauer Schlossbrau- Am PLatz, Oberlaa Cafee Dommayer-Dommayergasse for breakfast, Schlosscafe im Parkhotel and Goldegg for breakfast.
3. PLACES: all of Vienna is a monument, the architecture is wonderful, the parks are full of greenery, the museums with special exhibits: the Technical Museum, the Natural History Museum, the History Museum, the Butterfly House, the train stations are special, the tram and metro rides can offer experiences unexpected, everything is worth seeing.

It is one of the most beautiful City In Europe. Safe and very clean city. Lots to see and great food as well. The only think that I did not like it is that it is a bit expensive spatially in the city center but it is worth visiting it.

Vienna is a splendid city to explore, boasting stunning architecture, rich cultural experiences, and a plethora of attractions to marvel at. It exudes a sense of safety, allowing visitors to wander its streets and enjoy its offerings with peace of mind. While it may lean towards the pricier end of the spectrum, the wealth of historical sites, tourist attractions, and diverse activities justify the expense. Overall, Vienna's charm and allure make it a worthwhile destination despite its costliness.

The old city is great to walk around. The coffee houses are definitely a must visit, I'd suggest going into as many as possible. I would also recommend sticking to no more than 2 palaces/museums as they can be a bit similar

Vienna is a wonderful city.
Vienna is a wonderful city. We enjoyed the food tour and the visit to the Wein Museum. We also enjoyed one of the many concerts available. Our visit to the Albertina Museum was a bit underwhelming for the price and for what was on display. We enjoyed Sunday Mass at the Augustine Cathedral.
Definitely buy the 24 hour to week-long passes for city transportation. Between the underground, the trolleys and the buses you will be able to get anywhere and rarely have to wait more than a few minutes.
We left much to yet to see and experience.
The hotel is in a very nice part of the city. The metro station is 2 mins from the hotel, and from there you can get to the city center in 7 mins. You can walk to the city center if you want and can. I did it a few times.
The transfer to the airport, Vienna Airport Lines (VAL 1), stops in front of the Westbahnhof train station, which is in front of the metro station. Everything is very close!
Also, there is a very nice commercial street just around the corner, where you can find all sorts of restaurants, bars, and shops.
Our stay at Bellevue Hotel was amazing! The room was clean and cozy, the beds were comfortable, the TV and the fridge were working and there was hot water in the shower as well. The staff was exceptionally polite and friendly. It almost looked like they all are genies- we could ask for anything and they would make it possible! The location of the hotel was great- just a short walk from the city center and right across the road from big Billa that's working till 22. Definitely recommend this hotel for your stay in Vienna!
The hotel is located very close to the main Vienna train station. You could access the main city centre using the Tram line D departing very close to the hotel. Tickets can be brought on the tram via an automated machine. Remember to buy the 24 hour ticket rather than a single journey ticket if you plan to travel around a bit. The hotel and the rooms are very clean, new and functional. The breakfast was ok value around 12 Euros. There is also a 24 hour bar downstairs which seem to be quite popular in the evening.
Clean, super cosy and spacious. The pillows were the best hotel pillows I have ever slept on and the duvet was so warm. The LED lights behind the bed really added to the cosy atmosphere. Shower pressure and temperature was fantastic! Staff were very helpful and kind. I booked this place off a review I saw here saying it's convenient location to airport and city centre and it really is. I'm a girl in my early 20s and usually find navigating in a new city hard but I found it soo easy!
My girlfriend and I loved the Niu Franz Hotel! The room was stylish and well-equipped and the staff were really friendly and accommodating. The location of the hotel was perfect for us with a short tram ride taking you right into the city centre. I would recommend the buffet breakfast as there was a vast array of hot and cold food to choose from. Will definitely be coming back to the Niu Franz Hotel when we visit Vienna again!
The best choice we made on our Vienna trip – a stunning boutique hotel with carefully thought-out touches and design right in the heart of the old city. We loved everything about our stay, from the room decor to the lotions and soaps selected to the bathroom and the technologically advanced bidet. Would absolutely stay again when in Vienna and will be recommending to all our friends.
Very appreciative to the hotel for allowing me to check in early after, especially after a restless flight to Vienna. And while set a little further outside the city center circle, access to public transportation was very easy with a train stop just across the street (as well as tram stops nearby). All-in-all, I would definitely look to stay here again when traveling to Vienna.
The Harmonie Vienna was superb! Breakfast had a lot of options for everyone, location was convenient just right outside the city centre (Innere Stadt) and the room was spacious with extremely good beds. The hotel even offered free tea and cakes in the afternoons which was a nice surprise. Special mention to Stefan - thank you for the very good customer service!
The room itself was fine.
But the price was exorbitant for a hotel that doesn't have a restaurant and only provides breakfast at €13.50.
The lobby gives the impression the hotel is fancier than it actually is. But it's ok for travellers using the train station opposite but not so great if you want to be closer to City Centre Vienna.
Overall the apartment was really good . The price was great for what it offered and the staff of the hotel was really helpful. It was clean and tidy . The city centre was about a half-hour trip but easy to reach by tram and the stop was opposite the hotel so super easy. A great choice for a comfortable stay in Vienna .
My favorite things about the property were its central location (in city center and close to the subway station), cleanliness, & decor. The staff was friendly, convenient on-site laundry, & good Wi-Fi access. I was in Vienna for a conference followed by a week of holidays and the hotel was perfect for both.
The hotel is very centrally located which is right across the street from the main Railway station which makes it easier to commute anywhere with an all-day Vienna train pass. Its far from the city centre and the main attractions but they are only 2-3 metro stops away and one can easily take atrain
This hotel is excellent if you have meetings in the Vienna International Centre (UN) and Austria Centre. Rooms are big, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is excellent. Staff takes care of everything you need. Also city centre is not too far away (15-20 min by metro).
The hotel is ideally placed to explore the city centre - very near to main museums, parks, concert halls, opera house. Room was great and staff very friendly and helpful.
Will definitely stay there again when I'm next in Vienna.
Thank you!
Comfortable Rooms, Good Bath. comfortable bed.
Location is great if you have a car - about 15 minutes drive from the airport and same distance from Vienna city center.
we traveled with a baby and the hotel put a crib without extra charge.
This hotel has a great location, it's a 2 minutes walk from the main train station, but rooms are very quiet. It's easy to get to the airport or the city centre from here. Staff were lovely and incredibly helpful
This hotel has the best location in Vienna. In the city centre just behind the cathedral. The rooms are large and clean. Furnished with stylish furniture in royal style. Good breakfast and friendly staff.
Everything was amazing about SO/ Vienna. Great location, just a 5 minutes walk to the city center, staff was extremely friendly, the breakfast was top notch food, we had an amazing stay at this hotel.
The location of the Hotel is good: close to the city center of Vienna
The bathroom was good: probably the best feature of the room
The room was well heated
