Beautiful mountains, wonderful view at the glacier from almost every point. Very good infrastructure for tourists. But you allways have to check the opening hours and even opening days of restaurants, because many of them cooks only at particular hours. But i think this apply for whole Austria :) We visited twice the restaurant Tuxer Grillkuchl in part of Tux called Lanersbach. The food was very quicky served, very tasty and they have awesome salad bar. Also the waitresses have been very friendly, always asking if everything was OK. With your stay in (i think) every accomodation facility comes a Guest card, which allows you to use the local bus for free! The river Tuxbach is incredibly clean and the walk by the water is very beautiful!

Nice and quiet location for walks in the nature and for mountain hiking. Great place for snowboarding early in the season assuming you don't mind icy surface. All in all great place for short autumn break.

Wonderful location for hiking and skiing. It is easy to get around with bus that is free of charge with Tux guest card. It is also worth to buy the Zillertal Active Card. There are not many restaurants in Tuxertal. Almost all dining options are located within hotels.
Super cool pension, very helpful and friendly owner and all the staff, excellent cuisine. Buffet breakfast, all food was fresh and of great quality. Also the dinner was great, all meal very tasty.
The pension is very clean. Possibility of playing table tennis or darts for free was great bonus. The facility is located in walking distance from the sport bus which takes you to Hintertux glacier or Eggalm for free.
I absolutely recommend this place! Thanks for all the care!
Staff in the hotel is very very friendly, restaurant is good. Breakfast is rich and dinner has options and consists of several dishes.
Swimming pool and sauna complex is cozy and have everything to rest with and without children. It seems it is very modern (or recently renovated) like in best European hotels.
There are several bergbahn's nearby, the one in Hintertux is most admirable.
Exceeded our expectations in every way. You can tell that love was put into everything, even the making of the hotel, let alone the service provided. Facilities are beyond and Eva and her husband are the loveliest people you will meet. Wanting to come back to Austria just to stay here again. Sending love from Australia.
We used to visit Zillertal several times in the past years - it is great area to spend a vacation and most of the hotels that we stayed were very pleasant.
But this place exceeded out expectations by far - the meals, room and the hospitality were just excellent!

We like the location of the Hotel . It was on the side of little hill. It give an excellent view of the valley below . Also hiterTux glacier visible from Balcony . We received the rooms with Nice view of the Hintertux valley . Night was quiet and nice place to relax.
Very nice hotel, clean with helpful staff. Next to the bus station. Nearby their is a nice restaurant. The breakfast was very good and tasty with a lot of choice. In the evening you can stay and talk or play games in the restaurant ( it works only for breakfast).
Everything was perfect. Hotel is on the top of Hintertux, you can see all near beauty of the valley and mountains. Room was very clean and was cleaned every day! Breakfasts were tasty. Many thanks to Pavla and Natalia. We will come back some day!
Every single thing about this property was amazing: the people working at the Hotel, the food, the rooms, the dining area, bar, spa facilities, weight room, lobby, bathrooms, everything. it was the best place my wife and I have ever stayed at.
Very nice place near Hintertux glacier with confortable beds, big rooms and a nice breakfast.
It also has a great view, either of the valley or the mountain, depending on the room.
Also there are lots of hiking trails very near.
We're having diverse food allergies and intolerances and the hotel took meticulous care of our wellbeing. We just had to sit back and eat which was a great relief for us and helped to relax and enjoy the stay.
A really clean and wonderful place to spend our skiing holidays. The rooms were clean and well equipped. Parking for our 2 cars was also good. And that view directly on the Hintertux Glacier was incredible.

Very comfortable hotel with good swimming pool and excellent ski-room. Handy for the bus to the Hintertux lifts, although with good snow you can ski back to the hotel.
