Friendly staff. I was really late in arriving and they stayed up to let me in. Great room: spacious and well laid out. The designer and craftsmen who installed it were true modern artists. For example, the thin wood strip marquetry on the wood base for the clothes hanger. The gently curved cabinet under the bathroom sink. The irregularly shaped inlaid tile ornament in the bathroom wall.
Fine breakfast: not a buffet, just ask and they will create. For example, a perfect omelette served in its pan which kept it quite hot. A fine fruit and cheese plate.
Peace and quiet and the view of the hills with forests and fields out the windows in the morning.
Located right next to the A9 motorway a 20-minute drive north of Graz, the MOTEL ARBOTEL 24h self check-in offers free parking and nonsmoking rooms with free WiFi access.

easy check in and check out, a great place for passing by on the way to another city but the real connivance is the 24 hour check in. one of our friends was snoring too much so when downstairs and paid for another room through the automated machine which dispensed a room key and back to sleep.

Semriach is a small village with bucolic peaceful hills, mountains in the background and pasture lands. We went to the open air museum in nearby Stubing that was terrific!! I wish we'd had more time to visit the caves and do some hiking.
Nice hotel in a mountain environment. Nice, clean rooms. Pleasant staff at the reception and in the restaurant. Excellent food in a restaurant where everyone can choose. Breakfast very rich. Parking in front of the hotel without any problems. I can recommend to everyone, I will definitely come back.
Booked on short notice we were immediatly welcomed and even a prolonging of the stay, which we had to do on very short notice was made possible. The owner is for 50 years running the hotel now and you can feel, that he is still enjoying his job. Graet time.
The environment was beautiful. There are a lot of hiking trails around Semriach. The garden is beautiful, the rooms are clear. The elevator was useful for us, cause we were travelling with a baby. Despite of the hot weather, the hotel was cool.
Location is perfect, highly recommended the hike to Kasselfall. Hotel is pretty old, but well maintained and comfortable to stay for 1 night.
pool and sauna open till 9 p.m., but reception where you get robe and towels works till 8 p.m.
Location is the in hills, 30 minutes from Graz with pretty surroundings and cute town. Hotel has a restaurant and bar, which is great as there is not much in the surrounding area. Comfortable bed and quiet.
Excellent hotel in beautiful Steiermark. Good value, friendly staff, good facilities. We've gone 2 years in a row with a group and used their seminar room, and we plan to be back next year.
Staff was very friendly. Quiet and remote location. Large room. By our understanding hotel had authentic Austrian feeling - different wooden elements in interior and attributes in hallways.
Great location, beautiful view! The people in the hotel are very friendly and helpful, the room was nice and comfortable. I really enjoyed the pool area. We would like to come back.
