A wonderful family resort in the east of the alps. Great for beginners. Lots of blue & red runs. Great night time sledging. Loads of restaurants on the mountains with very friendly service. Big portions but not cheap but then ahow me a skiing resort that is. Much cheaper than france and Switzerland and italy.

Ski area consist of 4 hills to 1.800m, so everyone can find the slope which is fitting to him. On the hills, there was a pretty lot of restaurants or bars. There was a free parking place to leave a care in and drive with the lift directly to the entrance. When parking outside, you can put your skies on and by the snow go directly to the entrance to buy a tickets. Parking place was on asphalt so no dirt. The Schladming city is small but you can find there a restaurant for a quick dinner.

One of the most beautiful hotels I stayed in.
One of the most beautiful hotels I stayed in. The beauty of the hotel and the wonderful view of the mountain. The room number was 54, a studio with a balcony. It had all the necessary equipment for cooking in addition to all the kitchen utensils., They were very kind and helpful in everything. You need tourist places and attractions. If I come back again, it is impossible to stay in another hotel. Thank you.

Very good food, beautiful small town with a lot to offer. Mainly stayed for bike parks and they have one of the best systems so you don't overheat in the gondola, love it, very kind, would always recommend! Trails there are for every one, from kids, rookies to pro lines that takes days to master.

Schladming is a quaint little town with scenic views from everywhere. The town centre has nice bars spread out everywhere. However everything closes in this town by 5:30PM max and there may not be much night life to offer.
The host is the nicest, most caring host I have ever met. He stands out even from the usual Austrian high standard hospitality. The location is just perfect, everything is in 5 min walk, "Radweg" is just around the corner. The Apartment is big, comfortable, very cozy and feels like a real home. With the Schladming card (provided by the host upon check-in) you can use local facilities (e.g., Seilbahnen, Thermal Bad, Maut Wegen) for free or for a discounted fee.
The location of the place is great! It's right next to the slope and you can just put on your skis and snowboard and hit the slope. The rooms are really big. We - a family with two adults and three kids (0,6,9) had a one-bedroom apartment and there was enough room for everything. There's even a sauna and a play room for kids, which our older ones loved. And you get coffee filters and dishwasher tabs for free. It's really a great place to stay for families.
The whole place is wonderful. The hotel is the most beautiful one where i ever stayed. It’s breathtaking. the rooms are PERFECT. The breakfast is fantastic, everything is fresh, tasty. the spa is also beautiul and very-very relaxing. the hotel is a few steps far from the ski-slopes.

The apartment was in a great location with ski in ski out for intermediate skiers. Bus stops to the town and to the ski school were 1- 2mins walk. The night bus operates from Tuesday- Saturday.
The apartment was clean and spacious. The bathrooms and showers were particularly good. The sauna was excellent and well equipped.
Schladming was full of good restaurants and bars.

First of all, if you are in Schladming, it's already good. It's a wonderfull area with breathtaking landscapes, lots of activities, austrian traditions and food.
About the hotel: I liked the view, both to the Dachstein glacier and in the back, to the forest, clean and spatious rooms, well equipped kitchen, free parking, the sauna, relative closeness to the town.
It was an absolutely beautiful hotel! The breakfast was included in my room, and it was fantastic! They also included a bus ticket and a summer lift ticket. My group and I didn’t realize those would be included and it was a nice surprise! It’s also super close to shops and restaurants! I loved the big window in my room with the window seat.
the accommodation is in a wonderful location, close to the ski resort and the gondola, a 5-minute drive away, and parking is free. The accommodation has a well-equipped kitchen, so we could prepare our own meals if we wanted to. There are plenty of local restaurants and bars in the town.
Nightlife and skiing was amazing here in Schladming. Also Guesthouse Katharina is a VERY short walk into town for both restaurants and the local pub. The lockers that were provided at the ski lift for the skis and boots overnight was also very helpful. Would highly recommend the area.
Very nice hotel, cozy rooms. The staff was very kind and helpful. Meals selection excelent (breakfast and dinner). Locatiom aslo great, accessible to ski area in 7 minutes by car to Pichl or Planai. Also option of skibus which stops right infront of the hotel.
Everything was great. Great location: 8 minute walk to train station, 5 minutes walk to bus stop, and 10 minute walk to town center but away from noise. Hotel was so clean and modern. Reception was excellent helping with my questions. Best stay of our trip.
Very great location, close to Skilift Planai. A skidepot was also provided together with the appartment, it was very convinient! The appartment is in great quality, nice rooms, fully equipped kitchen. We would definetly come back.
