The grounds of this property are so well kept. It is just gorgeous here. Breakfast was delicious, as was supper. We borrowed the bikes and visited a few towns via the bike path. The hiking was great right from the property. We were so happy we had the whole weekend here!

The room was with panoramic view of the lake. We loved the balcony. The staff were welcoming and helpful. We loved the Breakfast and the variety of the foods. Definitely I will stay again in Seehotel.

I cannot speak highly enough of this hotel and it's wonderful staff!! we loved the location and our room was AMAZING! with a view of the lake and mountains. The facilities are top notch, and the breakfast divine; as a vegan I greatly appreciated the choice. Every evening we used the spa, which is wonderful, with so many rooms to choose from (sauna, steam etc.) and a delightful pool. The hotel is set in its own grounds that are peaceful and relaxing, with all the local shops and restraunts just a short walk away. The best thing really was how friendly and accomodating the staff were, which made it feel more like a wellness retreat! We are so thakful to all everyone at Hollwegers and we hope to visit again in the very near future!

Absolutely a great place to stay with welcoming host’s that a very lovely family orientated that if you need advice help nothing is to much trouble. Rooms are lovely with balcony and views to wow you. Ifs a very comfortable bed best night sleep I have had in ages the whole place is amazing extremely clean in fact I go to say not a bit of dust or mould to be seen. It’s not far from shops bank and the lake and lots to do there, the breakfast is lovely and a wide range of choices and juice and the biggest selection of tea I have see. Definitely top of any places I have stayed the friendliest and cleanest I will definitely be back and definitely recommend without hesitation thanks for making me feel welcome
The highlight of the guesthouse is the public spaces - our balcony, the area directly outside the hotel, the kitchen - all were really nice. The size of the room was also a plus, with more than enough space for the two of us and our large bags. Also, while they didn't provide a huge variety of toiletries, what they did provide was more than we could possibly need.
St. Gilgen is a lovely little town and this is a good home base. Note, however, that the town seems to essentially shut down on Sundays
Excellent location. Wonderful lake view from balcony. Familie Stadler were really nice and polite. House was really big. A big sleeping room with a sofa. Two bathrooms with shower. A separate kitchen which is really spacious.. No need to look for a different place, you wont regret to stay here. If you have car, Sankt Gilgen is a good location to go other lakes and places. there's outdoor activities possibilities nearby. Quite and nice beaches with facilities are very close.
We had the most magical time staying at Seegasthof. The location was beautiful, right on the lake and very peaceful. The hotel itself and room was very homely, clean and the food was delicious as well as the varied breakfast. The staff were exemplary and made us feel very welcome and answered many of the questions we had to ask about Austria. A special shout out to Gabriel!

Excellent location on the lake-front! Secluded and peaceful. Close to several hiking routes. Free pedalo and row boats are available for guests, which we loved! The staff at reception are exceptionally friendly and always willing to help! Finally, the traditional Austrian cuisine served at the restaurant is varied and delicious.
We had a lovely stay -- the hotel staff was very welcoming and the breakfast was wonderful! Traveling with our 3 teenagers is not easy in terms of space, but the room combination we had here was perfect. Our room was spotless. It was also in a great location, easy to walk to anywhere we needed. Would definitely stay again!
The hotel has been very recently refurbished and it absolutely shows. The new owners have clearly put a lot of thought and effort into it and the whole place looks brand new. Staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was nice and the room was lovely, with a balcony looking out toward the lake.
We could not get into the room until 4pm.nobody was at the hotel at 2pm. A funeral crowd made so much noise at 9 pm that I had to godown in my underwear making a complaint.
10pm the noise stopped. This was the worst place we stayed.not recommended…
The location is amazing. The view from the room is exceptional. The lake is just a few meters from the hotel, you can jump in a then lay back on the shore.

Nice location, nice with a beautiful view room. An old villa with a good position and elegant interiors. A nice buffet for breakfast. We could park the car behind the hotel. We hardly found a place in the parking lot.
Room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was so huge, tasty and stuff listen to all your wishes. They made us a vegetarian dishes. Parking next to the hotel. Very fast communication, also in Czech.
