The location is excellent and very unique. The host very friendly and serving a great breakfast included. Very good value for money and if they finish the refurbishment of the top level as they did with the first one would be an excellent and unique in every sense,

The village and the surroundings are beautiful, good food in the restaurants. We missed a cafe open in the morning :).
The church and its surroundings are incredibly beautiful and well-kept: no wonder it is the symbol of the village.

If you ever go to visit Heiligenblut, please drive the Grossgluckner Hochalpenstrasse and visit the Kaiser Franz Josefs Hohe. Park your car and go find some murmeltieren. I had the best day of my life with some carrots and the friendly murmeltieren.

We did the road to view Grossglockner, and it is highly recommended! On the way from Zell am See, Heiligenblut was at the end of this road so it was a great place to finish the day and stay.
The village is small, but very pittoresque with great views!

Our second visit to Heiligenblut, perfect location for a short stay crossing Austria. The village is small, quiet and friendly, the views and sense of relaxation fantastic. Sure you can stay at more convenient places along the busy highways crossing Austria, staying here after a 10 hour drive and you feel recharged to continue the next day.
Of course if you stay longer then Heiligenblut has many things to do nearby, a great location as base camp for family trips in the summer.

It is a good place to visit because everybody could find something nice to do. They have a lot of places for kids, you can go hiking, or just walk around. It is a bus to the platform under Grossglockner or you can go with your car to enjoy wondeful views and nature. Of course at the winter there are a lot of places to ski. Go there you would not be sorry.
It was the best stay in the hotel for me, the stuff was very kind and pleasant, we had a problems to make check in on time, and I asked if it is possible to make later, because we were lost, Mrs answered me very quickly that it’s ok ,and we were very happy because we though we will sleep in car😂
The breakfast was tasty and beautiful in a cozy atmosphere with fantastic view from the window. I should say it is the best place for hotel, the view here is amazing, I really can’t believe my eyes how beautiful it is here
The Dinner buffet was superb... I liked the mixture of traditional and exotic dishes, vegetarian and none, and it was different every day. Salad buffet was always fresh, and the staff was very friendly.
Same for the Breakfast buffet.
The hotel is also placed very close to the nordic skiing slope- which is huge, and offering a lot of variation (forest, frozen waterfalls, everything in sight from there!)
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND trying the nordic skiing slope if in that hotel!
This is the fairytale alpine cabin of your dreams. During our month long travels through Austria, this was our favorite accommodation. Immaculately clean, incredible views, lovely hosts. The beds are heavenly, with high quality sheets and pillows. VERY nice towels and lots of them. The Bathroom is HUGE, lots of storage. The kitchen has everything, very well equipped. The setting is unbelievable, perched on a mountain. We didn't want to leave.
Beate, Bernd and their team are very friendly, obliging, helpful and welcoming. The service offered was exceptional. – nothing was difficult and everything was offered with a warm smile. The hotel is clean and traditional. The breakfast was excellent. The Summer Card provided by the hotel gave free access to attractions and cable cars.
Our stay here was a pleasure from start to finish.
Thank you Beate, Berndt and your team.
Klaus and Claudia are outstanding hosts from arrival to departure. Our room was extremely clean and very comfortable, with beautiful views from the windows. We were made to feel very welcome from the first moment and highly recommend having drinks and dinner in the restaurant. On our first night in Austria we felt we had a very authentic experience. The breakfast was also excellent. We highly recommend a stay here.
Amazing place to stay, unfortunatelly we had just one night and weather was not good. We could not arrive on time due to trafic problems but lady from reception made late check out for us. Room was nice, calm and quite spacious - on the ground level so easy to move luggage there. If you wanna go to Grossglockner, this place is almost there. Big parking place in front of the hotel.
It was amazing! Being in the mountains all day and then having the oportunity to sleep here and wake up in the mountaims was incredible. I will definetly come back next year! Free parking also, and a lot of marmots around the hotel. The food is also good at the restaurant with decent prices. The rooms are clean, bathroom is good, and the views are just amazing
Perfect location for skiers, just in front of the cable car station which takes you to the altitude of 2600 m, so you can ski on the fresh powder even in March. Hotel is furnished in a cozy village style. Sauna and swimming pool included in the price. Nice food.
Wonderful hotel located in a beautiful mountain area right at the end of the High Alpine Road.
The room was very clean and cozy, quiet at night and flooded with light during the day.
Breakfast was very good and with many choices available.
The host/owner (Andreas) was fantastic! 🤩
The hotel is super charming, as an Austrian alp fairy tale. We had a dinner in the evening and it was really good.
The breakfast was a five star experience.
The breakfast was amazing, soo much variety, best one I ever had. We also had a great view from our room with balcony of Heiligenblut, the churches and the surrounding mountains. It was gorgeous!
The owners were very welcoming and helpful. Room was nice with great view. We ate both dinner and breakfast at the hotel and enjoyed our meal. So convenient to the Gross Glockner Alpine Road.
