The hotel is situated beautifully on the boards of the Donau. The view from our room was exceptional. The room was spacious although perhaps a bit old-fashioned.
We had an excellent dinner in the restaurant, which is highly recommended.
The staff was very friendly throughout our stay.

A very clean and comfortable hotel in a great location.  Our rooms were very comfortable and clean. The two host that we came in contact with we're very friendly and made us feel welcome. There are a couple of great restaurants within walking distance of this hotel. The next time I come through that way, I plan on staying at the hotel again.

it was an absolutely amazing room, facing the cathedral and big ceilings, it was super clean, and was also full of accessible tools like a railing for the toilet and an emergency pull string in the shower. We got late check out and the front desk was super super nice, 10/10 would visit this hotel again. It’s also in such a great area!!

I was surprised at how nice the hotel was given its proximity to the train station. It is a family owned business and it is reflected in the cleanliness, the breakfast, the front desk staff and overall atmosphere. The room price was a value for the stay. It was in a safe area and I didn't feel threatened at all going back and forth to the hotel.

Great Donau bike routes, e.g. to Linz or the Eferding land route. A couple of good restaurants (e.g. Wögerer) but beware: not open for diner every day. Beautiful walking trail at Pesenbachtal near Mühlacker. The Badesee (actually 4 of them) great for sunbathing and swimming. A Golf court with an Italian restaurant.
A great place for people who seek a couple of relaxing days in a rural environment with the beautiful city of Linz at some 20 km distance.

Lovely views and a pleasant breakfast. Cycling the Danube, the Hotel is located up a short steep climb.
Note to cyclists: Secure bicycle storage and if approaching from the other side of the river, the bridge does have a dedicated cycle path(Upstream side).
This is a top hotel with a fantastic view over the Danube and Aschach. Our room was well furnished and very clean and the breakfast was good and sufficient. Good parking too. We'd like to come back.
