We stayed just one night. It is difficult to say more than a hotel near the highway, but in a quiet area, room was a spacious, good breakfast. A very good choice for the overnight rest for travelers.

It is not such a picturesque town but it has an old castle on the hill with fine views. The other thing I really appreciated was an outdoor 50 metre public pool with an equally large separate fun pool wih water slide. After a long journey that was perfect!

Motel is easily accessible, easy to find, great location, only 2 min drive from the centre of Bruck an der Mur. This is self service motel, so no staff or breakfast, but there is a vending machine with beverages and bite size food. The room was fully equipped with small kitchen, all that you might need. I loved the check in process, it was very easy. Bad was amazing, very comfortable. Room was cleaned daily. We stayed there for motoGP. It is only 40 min drive from Red Bull Ring, all on highway.
Why would you stay in a modern hotel when you can stay in a 1400 year old building lovingly restored? Every nook, every charming seating arrangement needed to be photographed. The location could not be better, with the river Mur in front and the town square behind. Add to that a very attentive staff and amazing breakfast.
An interesting old hotel, furnished with strange eclectic charm. We'd been upgraded to 'The Suite' which is a huge room with views south to the river and west.

As the hotel is located close to a motorway, it's a good option for overnight stay when travelling south. However, may be a good choice for exploring the Mürzzuschlag region in future. The hotel was quiet and clean and situated only 1 minute from the restaurant (Steak for dinner with dark beer,just what the doctor ordered!). Staff in hotel and restaurant were very helpful.
