Carpark is a plus - safe and just below the hotel. The room is big with extraordinary view. Very good location - just next to the train station and not far away from major attractions. You can choose to walk around or take the tram / bus for just a few stops. The staff is very helpful too.

A beautiful, rural area ten minutes by car from Old Town Salzburg. The 180 degree view from the Gasthof Maria Plain hotel terrace, and from the balcony of room #20 which we had, captures sweeping pastoral greenery in the foreground, behind which is the city of Salzburg with the iconic fortress on the berg, back-dropped by the soaring Austrian Alps. The Jagerwirt is in the country with fields all around and a more "country" feel. That was a good change for me since I had been staying in city urban hotels earlier in my trip. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was good with ample quatity and variety. The facilities were fine. I had a nice room with a view over the countryside. I would stay there again.
This is a magnificent property, set in an Alpine meadow overlooking little Salzburg, yet only a 5 minute( max) drive to the “ City Center”.
Absolutely jaw dropping view, but the hotel itself, the huge rooms and bathrooms, lovely outdoors terrace and indoor restaurant, delicious dinner and breakfast but the staff were exceptional - Jasmine very welcoming and sweet.
The hotel is a dream, and the view is stunning! We arrived on "Ruhetag" (staff was off), but the self check-in process was a snap. Great breakfast. Great rainfall shower. Super clean. Wonderful staff. The drive up to the hotel is steep, but there is plenty of parking. Great bus connections to downtown at the "Plainbruecke" Stop at the bottom of the hill.
Room was large with plenty of storage. The hotel is located in a quiet area on the edge of the town but the bus stop is just outside of the hotel so it's very convenient for exploring the city. Plenty of free parking spaces outside with Tesla supercharging station as well. Breakfast was good.
The view from the hotel was amazing ...the breakfast was really delicious : fresh and there s a lot of options ... the room was ok : simple and classy design .. keep in mind it s on up-hill so if you re getting there by foot it will take some effort .
Location is amazing, there is a local bus just outside the hotel which takes you straight to the city center. The green landscape view from the room is beautiful. Rooms have very comfortable beds. Staff is very friendly! Would definately recommend!
The hotel is lovely and the view is outstanding. The restaurant at the hotel was also very good. We liked being out of the tourist area in the city. The grounds are well maintained and it's very peaceful. The photos are from our hotel room.

The location was great with amazing views. The breakfast was also excellent, very diverse and tasty. The bathroom was almost brand new and veey modern. The hotel itself is a historic building so it is very elegantly furnished.
