The atmosphere was very relaxing and peaceful. Loved sitting outside and enjoyed the mountain view. Beds were very comfortable and breakfast was great. Nice balcony! Loved the 3 min walk to bus stop which took us to Hellbrunn castle and Saltzburg!! Also the neighborhood was beautiful to take an evening stroll.

The restaurant is beautiful, but not open throughout the whole day. Dinner started at 5 PM. The play place was very large and indoor and they even had outdoor equipment. All included for guests. Also free bikes for guests. 30 minute bus ride from downtown Salzburg. 10 minute bike ride from the grocery store.

This was our 2nd visit to this hotel. We were here in 2017 and while I loved how quaint it was then, I enjoyed the extras they have added. Best place to stay in Salzburg!
The free breakfast was unbelievably good. The #25 bus right there to go anywhere you need to go. I especially enjoyed the walks to the bus stop.
We ate in Anif more than the city. I highly recommend Aniva for Italian food and Friesacher for Austrian food.
The room was quite large, the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was big! It was very easy to reach Anif from Salzburg city centre and the views on surrounding mountains were spectacular. The host couldn't be more helpful. They let us to have our take away meals in the breakfast room downstairs and even let us to use the fridge to store some products we bought on the local market. I would stay there again.
It's simply a nice place to be, it mixes understated, relaxed elegance with homely comfort. The hotel restaurant is also of a good standard, some interesting seasonal dishes, and an extensive wine list showcasing lots of Austrian numbers. And, of course, they like dogs, and our dog likes them.

Hugh room (superior), beautiful old style hotel, very good breakfast , not crowded, great balcony, hugh cool underground garage. We asked for kettle and cups for the room and received immediately. Easy access to Salzburg with car.
The hotel has very good location, close to Salzburg with nice view. The room and bathroom were clean. The parking was free and right next to the hotel. The view from the windows was very nice and you can see the stars.
Excellent breakfast, clean and well-maintained rooms, super nice and attentive staff. Located in laid back and tranquil Anif in the outskirts of Salzburg (10-15 minutes drive), near the Hellbrunn Gardens.
In our zest to stay in Salzburg main town, we missed looking at other options. Landed on this one when our stay got extended by a day... Wish we had been more open in our search early on...
