Jorge and Julia were really hospitable! The made us feel at home right away. The place looks simple but inside, everything is very detailed…the antiques, the room, the common areas, the dining area…everything was wonderful! And the breakfast was to die for…so many homemade items…the bread, fresh squeezed orange juice, alfajores….everything was delicious! I found this place by accident, but it turned out to be one of the places with the most character that we have stayed in! I truly recommend it!
Del Amauta Hosteria offers traditional country style interiors in the heart of Purmamarca. Guests can enjoy use of the tea house and picturesque views of the Colorados nature trails.

Beautiful hotel in an excellent location! The room was spacious and comfortable, though the bathroom felt a bit outdated, with a shower that had some issues. I was a bit concerned to find an uncovered electric plug near the shower that was exposed to water splashes. Despite this, the staff was wonderful—friendly and always ready to help. The hotel itself has a lovely ambiance, though the prices felt slightly higher than expected. Overall, a good stay with some room for improvement.
Featuring mountain views, La Morada in Purmamarca features accommodation, a garden and a terrace. There is a private bathroom with bidet in all units, along with free toiletries and a hairdryer.

The house was amazing !!!!!! They give you an empanada and glass of wine every night! The breakfast is complete and if you leave earlier they bring it to you! The staff amazing and the parking free! Amazing views! Well organized!
It would be best if you stayed at least one night here.
It would be best if you stayed at least one night here. Most of the time, you may make a quick stop here as part of a tour, but more than the 2 hours they give you is needed to enjoy the Colorado Hike. I recommend staying one night to hang out in the main square with a Mate, Coffee or beer, and enjoy some live entertainment at a local restaurant. There is something about this little town that brought a lot of peace. Check it out.

Beautiful primitive combination of scenery and people.
Beautiful primitive combination of scenery and people. Amazing nature views. The trip between Purmamarca and Salinas Grandes is breathtaking. 4500 meters altitude along the Andes, views changing every minute. I would recommend taking enough time for this trip both ways, since it is almost necesary to stop every minute for sightseeing. The trip is a destination in itself!!!

Gorgeous hotel. It’s made up of 10 little houses, with two bedrooms, a living room, kitchen and a second-floor terrace. All have an amazing view of the Cerro de Siete Colores from the balcony and living room. It was a little much for two people but would be perfect for a group/family of four. Each evening there is also a cocktail hour with live folk music, which was a nice way to unwind after a day of hiking.
Greeted by the delicious smell of cookies baking. Very comfortable, clean hosteria perfectly located in Purmamarca. Spacious, clean room, comfy bed and doors to vineclad patio with views to the mountains. Private parking and nice, simple breakfast.
Recommend having dinner at El Manantial del Silencio, 50 metres up the road.
Nice "cabana" just outside Purmamarca, we were very comfortable and didn't feel cold in the evening as everybody had warned us! Good breakfast. Although some of the equipment was not working properly, we managed. Quiet location, what we were hoping for! Staff were very kind and friendly.
