Yerevan is beautiful old city. Its construction is a bit chaotic, so to find nice places you have to walk a lot, but it is an interesting challenge too. The food is great. I strongly recommend restaurant Urartu on Paroyan street, just in front of Konte, the old part of the city which probably will disappear soon. Vine "Armenia" is strongly recommended! The open marker "Vernisaz" is the best place for shopping of traditional jewellery, carpets, and tableware.
But when you visit the city, please, be careful, there are many scammers in the centre of the city. We were stolen by taxi driver that asked to change a note of 10000 in two of 5000, but after substituted the note of 10000 that I gave him by one of 1000. In the center, there walks a russian "guide" Olga (a slim old blond lady with a face full of wrinkles). She invited us for excursian and stole our money. So, be careful and only buy guides in official places. In general, normal armenians, are very nice and sympathics. Do not lose the opportunity to visit Opera theater. The quality of musicians, singers, and dancers is of high standard and the theater itself is very nice.

The whole country is very lovely. Erivan has a lot to offer: delicious food, trendy places, beautiful views and the most kind and friendly people you'll ever encounter. It's my second visit and I'm already missing Erivan.
You can book interesting tours fairly cheap. Everything is quite close, so you'll be able to visit breathtaking tourist places on the countryside, even if your visit is short.
I was amazed by the number of people able to speak German. Most people are very good at speaking Russian and at the restaurants you'll be provided with English menus. A lot of people speak English very well.
It is hard to describe what's so amazing about Erivan. It's just the feel. I've never felt so comfortable and welcomed. The city has very interesting architecture and such a cozy vibe. Visit Armenia, you will not regret it, I promise.

I love Yerevan.
I love Yerevan. It is not flashy on the outside, but quaint and beautiful on the inside. The city has so much to offer, you need to take the time to discover it. The food is amazing, the people are lovely, and the weather and air is refreshing. You can find water fountains all over the town and the country. I also visited several other landmarks and towns, monestaries and hit the ski slopes while here! Everything was great. We had Easter dinner with an Armenian family and they were so kind, the spread was amazing and that was the best part of the whole trip.

My stay in this hotel was best decision in armenia, first of all the the building is new and the room was very cute and clean, wasn't noisy at all, stuff couldn't be more helpful then they were, they supported me more than it was expected, people in reception were very friendly and helpful Irina and Nina were great, location is a bit up from center but according the noise in center for me was better to stay in this hotel, totally everything was great and i will definitely stay in this hotel in my future visits in yerevan.
We enjoyed our stay for 13 nights. Thanks to our lovely and friendly host and her family that were so helpfull. The apartment was exactly next to the cascade and so close to kentron( city center) . It was just few minutes walk to so many great places..the apartment was clean, comfortable and safe which made it feels like our own home. We enjoyed it all and I really recommend it to stay there.

The hotel is located in the center of Yerevan in walking distance to main attractions. My room was spacious and super clean! The staff was incredibly kind, in particular the receptionists Elen and Seda were so friendly and helpful all the time! Although breakfast was mostly savory (which is not usual in some European countries), I really enjoyed it. I loved staying here and I will definitely come back! I highly recommend it for your stay in the beautiful Armenian capital!
I highly recommend the stay at Red Hotel. The owner is fluent in English and he is very helpful. I am grateful for the huge favor he did when, during my last day in Armenia, i was delayed on a group tour and was about to miss my flight hadn’t he transferred my luggage himself midway to the airport where i met him. Also, he did that for free and didn’t accept the money i offered. The location is also very close to the city center ( 6 mins , ~1.7 usd by taxi).
We had a great experience with this hotel. It is located very close to the city center, the rooms were clean and nice. Has a backyard where you can seat and enjoy the evening fresh air. The staff was supportive and very courteous. Breakfast was delicious, so we liked everything. It's such a nice hotel we'll be back next week and always recommend it to our friends. Bonus: the location is very good, it is about 5 to 10 minutes to the Republic Square and the city of Yerevan can be easily explored by foot from the hotel. Definitely recommended.

Alex (the manager) and Mrs. Laura (the owner) were very nice and helpful. At the end of our stay, she offered us a hand-made gift with the armenian alphabet on it!
The building is nicely located in the city center of Yerevan. As for the apartment, it was clean, modern and quite spacious for two (2) travelers. The owners are nice and ready to help you if you have any questions/issues. There will be a key box at the entrance door for you to obtain your keys. Just insert the code, and enjoy your stay.
In the city center, close to Republic's place and Amiryan Street where you can buy all the day trip to discover Armenia and be back at night time to enjoy the city life. Just opposite the hotel a very cheap supermarket, open 24/7. Rooms are clean and silent envi. Staff is very discreet and respectful, with a simple and warm smile
The hotel is very clean, staff really friendly. They prepare excellent breakfast (also confirmed by our 3 children). It is located on the hill, with a view of the city. Taxi to city center is cheap (on arrival we bought their sim card and used Yandex application). Supermarket, bakery, coffee is 5 min walk a bit up the hill.

The room was very clean and provisioned with everything from toiletries to a fridge, washing machine, kettle etc. The location is also central so we had easy access to the city center. Also, the property is 10-15 minutes walking distance to the city center which makes it a great choice when staying in Yerevan.
We reached the hotel after the night train from Tbilisi and we could access our room to finish our short night. The lady that works at the place was very welcoming and the owner told us some good advice's to visit Armenia. The hotel is in a good location for city center. I would recommend !
I liked this quiet location away from the noise of the city center. Staffs were friendly and they respond quickly to your needs. Especially Diana at the reception is a excellent staff. Apartment was big and we enjoyed the Tennis court as well. Night view from the hotel was very good.
