The hosts are a husband and wife team that treat you like family the moment you walk through the door. They gave us a full tour of their property, answered many of our questions related to Armenia's history, and even gave us a free bottle of their homemade wine made from the famous Areni grape before we left. Also.. did I mention the location?? The view from our bedroom would have made you think we were in Sedona, except even better it was Armenia! The hotel was right on a beautiful river situated below a huge and gorgeous cliff, it was our own little corner of paradise. The hotel was also situated close to other wineries, restaurants, etc. (one of which we had a private cooking class with!). Lastly, the room itself was super clean, the beds were comfortable, and the room let in great light along with a balcony that allowed us to sit out and enjoy our coffee in the morning while looking out to the river and cliffs. They even had a gym if you wanted to work out! This is definitely where we will be staying when we come back!

The house is modern, very nice. Room was comfortable, clean and tidy. The guests could use shared kitchen and a large living room. Nice view from the terrace. The host is incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was gorgeous. We were recommended to have dinner at "gastrohouse", which was a great experience. Location is excellent, just a few kilometers from Noravank. Could recommend.

If you want a glimpse of life in an authentic Armenian village home then this place is for you. I would recommend ordering their dinner if you would like to try wholesome local food. Their homemade wine was exellent - better than those I tried at the local wine tasting venues. The hostess was really helpful in giving me suggestions on places to visit in the area. Very comfortable large bed with beautiful linen. Room and bathroom was new and very clean. Delicious breakfast served in a beautiful dining room with views. Warm welcome and hospitality was exceptional. The host, which was very much appreciated, also took us to a car repairer as we had a flat tyre.

Our stay at Anna’s house felt more like a family visit. If you want to experience the real Armenia and support locals, this is your best choice. We did wine tasting in their own cellars and the wine was really tasty and high quality. I definitely recommend to stay for dinner as from a fish with rice as Anna presented happened a 6 course meal that was absolutely delicious. Same goes with the breakfast. Overall lovely stay!
