We, my 2 kids and I ,spent 5 days in this super hotel.We loved every minute! We were travelling with taxi from the airport, we booked by Booking and it costed 42 euro. On the way back we used a local Hungarian transfer ,which was only 10 euros pro person.
The hotel is beautiful and very clean. The cleaners are working from early morning until late evening. There is no sand in the hotel and by the pool!
The staff are very friendly, very helpful. The food is very good too.
The pool and the beach are lovely and clean as well. The surroundings are nice.
There are small food stores and restaurants. You can exchange as well.
As I don't drive we stayed by the hotel.
We booked only a day trip to Tirana by a local tourist office, which was also very good.
To tell the truth I can't write anything bad about this hotel and the area.

he location is quiet, without noise and is a great place for families with children, as well as for people who just want to rest in peace.
the food is delicious, fresh and every day there was a new menu. the children were treated especially kindly, since they could always order pizza, soup or something else in addition to the food served, without additional payment.

The Durres end of Golem has some excellent hotels and restaurants, so you need to explore a little out of season See Rio Palace restaurant, Dollars Restaurant and FaFa Blue Hotel

heavily touristic area, hotels extend to the beach, the beach is nice with fine sand. There is a lot of construction here, there are also exchange offices or shops, restaurants. It's more like dead in the off-season.

It is hard to review Golem as we mostly stayed at the hotel and its close proximity. There is a pathway by the beach which is not too long to walk. The are a few markets in very close proximity to the hotel.

The apartment was spacey with a sea view and good value for the money. In October it was not overcrowded with the tourists. Weather was warm and sunny during our stay and there was reasonably priced resort restaurants near by. The apartment was clean and the host was very helpful and accommodating whenever we needed him to resolve any issues with the accommodation.

Golem is the quieter beach down from Durres. This is a touristy destination. It does have lovely bars and restaurants but not the character if yre looking for the idillic beach scene. You have to travel a distance to see any historical places. We used it as a quiet last few days of holiday as its close to airport.

The best is the location and facilities. It is a very beautiful place, a lot of shows. I only didn´t feel so safe, because people who is not in the hotel can enter and use the swiming pool. My daughter get stolen by another child, who was not in the hotel and those people who are not in the hotel are using the chairs from the swimmingpool and sometimes we didn´t have a spot to sit.
Another recomendation is to put more garbage cans, because the beach was full of cigarette butts.
Check in was smooth, helpful young man at the reception is fluent in English and he gave us all the information. Apartment is spacious, well equipped, with two AC unit, very comfortable beds. Apartment is 5-10 minutes away from beach by foot. Underground garage is a real asset. Laundry area is located in garage, as well as bikes you can use free of charge. Market is next to the hotel. Nearby aqua park is an excellent place to spend a day of your stay in Golem (entrance fee is applied). Definitely, we would stay in this property again.
Spent 3 days in Golem and Durres and enjoyed my stay very much. I stayed with my wife, son and in-laws in Jurgens apartment, and I have to say that the welcome and hospitality from Jurgen and his father was excellent. The apartment was clean and it had all amenities that we needed for our stay. Moreover, Jurgen and his father provided us with a extra other items to ensure we were very comfortable. Great people, great apartment. I would definitely recommend it to you if you are looking for a nice place that is also very affordable.

There is a few small supermarkets nearby which were very handy for self-catering.
The hosts met us on arrival and went out of there way to helpful and friendly.

This hotel is Super Clean and Brand New. Located right on the beach with a host of other hotels and bars. The food at the restaurant located downstairs has really food Seafood & Shrimp Pistachio Pasta. The staff was very helpful, nice and greeted you will a smile all day. My room was facing the Sea where I could go out on my balcony and watch the sunrise and sunset. This was a amazing but relaxing trip. Definitely well needed.
The apartment is in a walking distance to the beach, and sorrounded with some of the most luxurious hotels in Golem and Golem is a wonderful place to stay..the apartment is not modern one..but it has every thing that you need for a normal stay. Luljeta is a wonderful host, she and her husband helped us with some useful information about restaurants and the beach. Overall supperb!
I really enjoyed my holidays at this hotel. The view from the room was amazing. The food was delicious and room was super cleaned. One other thing I want to mention is the staf of the hotel. Their service was on top. The receptionists helped us with everything we needed. If you want to have outstanding holidays you should go at Pinea. I really recommend this hotel.
Such a nice experience ! The hotel is very clean , spacious , with all the facilities you need for a comfortable stay. The location also is very good , there are many shops and restaurants near ( Bamboo by chef Toni is an excellent option ) . The host is polite and the price very convenient. Highly recommended !

Good variety at breakfast, very helpful and engaged staff, who took a lot of interest in our 1 year old daughter, waving and talking to her. Room was cleaned beautifully and both owners were lovely, as are most people in Albania. Would definitely stay here again

Hotel is very good, except the mess in front pools that still there is the mess created by the government that destroyed partially the pools because of non-permission.
