dubai was a great experience overall. i'm glad to say i've gone but i'm not sure i'd return. as an American, a lot of the attractions felt like things I've seen at home. we wanted more of a cultural experience especially to have traveled so far, so we highly recommend doing the desert safari and the mosque at Abu Dhabi. other than that, a lot of the major attractions like the Dubai Mall were underwhelming. lots of American restaurants and fast food chains/stores. if i return, i would also stay at the Marina where you can at least get the luxury beach experience instead of being downtown, which feels like any other major downtown of a city.

overall experience to visit Dubai was good. But during Eid holidays bachelors entry was not allowed in Dubai mall and Global village. That was a big disappointment for us. we were coming from Ruwais Abu Dhabi. which is the industrial area of Abu Dhabi. but we did not enjoy much as we were expecting because of some restriction for bachelors.

Very clean and beautiful, loads of places to visit and entertain kids, great weather and cheap taxis. However, not every taxi driver takes you straight to your destination. Some of them will take you round and round either not knowing the quickest way or getting their meter numbers high enough.

dubai is an excellent location for vacation. be sure to do research and make an itinerary, download careem or Uber if you don't have a car, check the reviews and location of the places you are booking to the attractions you want to visit of your stay
Location was perfect, very close to Marina walk and 10 min walk from red train line which runs from airport and passes Dubai Mall etc. New hotel and standard on everything very high. Bars etc very nice. We stayed a fortnight family of 4 with 2 rooms and can recommend this hotel to anyone. We had a balcony room looking out towards the golf course and Marina and would recommend this side and a room as high up as possible to appreciate the view. This was our first stay in Dubai having previously only transited the airport but we all loved it.
The hotel is located at the seaside and has its own access to the beach. It's equipped with all the necessities for the beach active recreation: sunbeds, beach towels, water bottles, football, volleyball, tennis, ping pong games, etc.
Breakfast is good with a wide selection of dishes. WiFi works perfect even on the beach. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was cleaned every day. La mer is a newly built area and everything is brand new there. There is also a shuttle bus from the hotel going to Dubai mall and metro station.
Everything was just superb, On my trip to explore Dubai I stayed at four Different 4&5 Star Hotels but this Vida Beach Hotel just made my stay extra special by staff looking after me and making sure I was very Happy. The Staff (Marwa) went out of way to make sure my room was very nice and comfortable, she helped me order best food always had a smile. Mahmoud, Ibrahim and Ahmed from front desk were very kind, courteous and helpful. All Breakfast Restaurant staff were amazing specially Ali. I wish them all the very best.
The half board stay allow you to have access to several restaurants across the Jumeirah hotels network which makes it very exciting to discover and eat at different places in Dubai. most hotels are 5 stars with amazing restaurants.

This hotel gives you one of the best value for your money in the area. The room meets all standards of luxury with large showers, spacious room and bathroom, and very comfortable bed. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Great location, within walking distance to Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall, but they do offer a shuttle to the mall every half hour and the metro station is only a 7 min walk away and one stop from the mall as well. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in downtown Dubai.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was amazing and you could feel the 5 star standards. View from the room was also great! Here at Radisson they don't just give you a room, but they think about your comfort. Even their room sleepers are so puffy and comfy that you feel like at home. Location is also great, you can walk to Dubai Mall/Burj Khalifa or take taxi to there just for 3 dollars. Also they have experienced hotel taxi that can take you to airport for a regular price of city taxi.
Our stay was good and all, It is nice to be near the airport if you are transit. But, for a trip to Dubai for leisure, i cannot recommended this hotel. Location is far from any activity or famous landmarks, the food is meh not that much, Concierge was the best but for the rest of the staff they were meh ok. All in all, the place would an awesome 4 star hotel. Dont expect to have a 5 star hotel experience at all.
Location was good. Next building is lulu supermarket. Whatever you need you can find all there. Area was very safe. Hotel staff are very helpful, very kind and smiling face. Room was clean. Whatever you need they are bringing in 5 minutes. Airport just 10 minutes. Dubai mall 20 mins. Only marina little bit far. Mark can solve your all problems about your transport:) you can trust him. He was the best.
Great location, walking distance from downtown (Dubai mall), across the street from Pullman hotel so can stop in for a beer if you want to drink. Staff is great, makes great coffees, great price. Nice pool with lots of sun access. Really great staff. Definitely recommend and woiks stay again. Great price. Also there's always scooters out front to ride to downtown in less than 5 minutes!
Hotel is close to the airport which is great. City centre and marina are a bit further - 30-50 min by taxi depending on traffic. Advantage is that there is lots of space - rooms are big, garden and pools are very nice, lots of space on the beach. Staff very polite! Great Thai food. In the evening it was rather calm which we enjoyed, no laud music or people:-)

But a much better option than a grubby cheap hotel for similar money in town. Did not regret changing hotels. A lovely hotel. Perfect for families and solo travelers. It is very much a multicultural family environment.
The rooms were clean and the beds were really comfortable. The staff in the reception always had a smile. The location of the hotel was great as well, right next to Mall of the Emirates and close to the Metro. It is also in the sweetspot between Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall and Dubai Marina.
The staff is especially friendly and smiling especially the staff member Gasem who works at the reception. The parking is the best in all of Dubai better than any other hotel even the 7 star ones, since it used to be a mall parking. In addition the location is in the next to the airport
I received a very good room at 14 th floor with the best view. The location of the hotel is in a good position, and to reach beach is not so far away but in the same time the connection with the center and dubai marina mall is very easy. We received each day refill with water, coffee.
the room was very clean and comfortable with new furniture, there is a supermarket just outside the hotel. and the metro station is only 10 min. walkway from the hotel and there is Dubai Marina mall which is 30 away by walking
