Ajman is close enough to Dubai and offers much cheaper accommodation. All Dubai attractions are accessible from Ajman with an easy and relatively cheap taxi service. Remember Ajman is an emirate in its own right and has relaxed social rules but still people need to respect that this is an Islamic country and avoid creating situations where you may be seen to be a trouble maker. Show respect dress and behave sociably and respectfully and you will enjoy your stay and will be accepted by the locals.

No hot water facility as the heater was damaged and not repaired or replaced during our stay. Had heat water on the stove for bathing.

It was a good experience overall. However, the rooms we booked were not available (king rooms). They were offering us twin rooms during check in instead and we were two couples and specifically had booked king rooms for that very reason. If the rooms aren’t available then it shouldn’t be available to be booked by the hotel. This was highly unacceptable that too from a hotel like Ajman Saray and on NYE. They had compensated us with complimentary breakfast for two but it was still very unsatisfactory.

It's a giant building site.
It's a giant building site. Getting into/out of Dubai is a minimum of 1-2 hours (120-190 AED) by taxi and the driving is very very poor. Not recommended for nervous passengers.
The pollution levels there are high - possibly due to the building work.
There isn't much to do there aside from stay in the hotel or visit the museum. It's cheap(ish) winter sun but I would not return.

A wonderful stay with lots of members of staff to be mentioned , everyone works very hard, nothing is too much to ask, always available to help, Always smilling that's most important! Very efficient specially Birdy on front desk a name must have to be mentioned... from check in till checkout always kind, helpful and respectful. He upgrades both our room with late checkout. Each time we use to walk past reception he smiles, wave and lit if time just stand up out of respect. Beach is very clean, lots n lots if shops around including many eat out options on walking distance. Water activities on beach leads by very friendly team. No entertainment in hotel but it didn't bother us, atmosphere is calm around hotel and food much much better than I expected in al inclusive hotels for the price we pay for. Some stuff like hot chocolate aren't including which is bit disappointing , all in all we a great holiday.

We stayed in Fairmont Ajman with kids in May 2021. We had a room number with a sea view, and the kids' room number was half sea view and half town view. The sea view is fantastic! You can watch the sea into which that red sun sets every evening - perfect light for taking photos and relaxing.
The breakfast is very delicious and diverse. There are several restaurants in the hotel and also several excellent restaurants in nearby hotels for dinner.
The water is calm and clear. You can sunbathe and swim all day.
This was my fifth stay at the hotel and it lived up to our expectations. our room was wonderful, the view of the sea was spectacular.
The staff were amazing, The Indian restaurant is probably one of the best in the UAE!
Elwy Elgazaar was incredibly helpful and made our stay
that much more special.
Zanzibar, is probably one of the best bars in the UAE, the staff are very friendly and efficient,we are even considering having our wedding there.

Every thing was perfect. I got an upgrade for free; a spacious room with sea view. The staff was so nice and very friendly. The hotel location is very good and the sea view is marvellous whereas the price is relatively cheap relative to others of same specs. It was one the best hotels I used for the past 15 years.
This hotel has exceeded our expectation. Comparing to the last hotel we stayed which is 5 star this one is much more better on every aspect. Modern comfortable hotel with sea view and friendly staff. We have also loved Seascape restaurant which is located at the hotel. Seafood is fresh and prices are fair.

Welcoming guests by staff is the most important part for any host as it was professionally handled at the reception help desk. Food is the second priority that was excellent at Ramada hotel, location was woooooow as everyone were enjoying beach and many others.
