Al Aqah is a small town, and worth traveling by road from the big cities. The drive through the desert and then through the mountains (literally at some spots - through the new tunnels) is enjoyable and not tiring at all. The city itself is small, however with all basic emergency services for visitors to feel secure.
Hearing crows in the morning was a wonderful surprise. Haven't met a lot of crows in uae.

Excellent hotel with great facilities, green area, nice activities and super cool entertainment program in the evening. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurants are cool but could be less expensive and with a better choice of food dishes.

Need to improve on quality of alcoholic drinks.. whiskey, vodka and beer were of very low quality.
Buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner was excellent. Should have added some more vegetarian dishes.
In bathroom, shaving kit and toothpaste was of very very very low quality.

Nice place during Jan-Feb-Mar. nearby hiking areas and long clean beach. Take a food box ( toast/ fruit/ vegetable/ cheese/ .. ) and cooking staff. Restaurants are busy and groceries in the area are not fully equipped and not recommended.

We were looking for a short break from the hustle and bustle of the city, having stayed at various hotels in Fuj. This one does not disappoint - overall a very relaxing stay, friendly staff right from check-in, a good pool, a quiet ambiance, and good food. It was truly worth the trip and we will definitely come back to the hotel again. P.S being an IHG member really helps on F&B
Went during the Eid holiday. The resort was full. Staff was not prepared. Rooms were not aired and smelled.
The Resturant’s. Are not enough for a resort of that size
Food quality was bad compared to the value of money paid. Staff was short and was tired to overwhelmed with the number of guests so they were not professional
Rooms and facilities cannot be rated as 5 stars hotel but rather a 4 stars one
Breakfast is okay but not very wow unlike other resorts that have wide variety of choices. Room was good and big.
We did not avail the dinner buffet as it is way so expensive 165 each. I asked if there is a discount for senior (60yo) as other hotels are giving consideration as elderly cannot eat a lot of food but they said NOOOO. So we ate dinner at La Cucina.
The staff were all very friendly and very helpful and our checking in and out was seamless . The restaurants were very good with tasty food, lovely pool and beach access , everything was spotless which is so important now during Covid, all
Staff are vaccinated and wear masks and there is hand sanitizer available all over the hotel and outlets.
If I only can gave this hotel more then 10 starts I will gave

Divers... if you need an easy and convenient place to stay in Fujeirah or Khor Fakkan, this hotel is legendary. Simple, clean, easy going and good value for money: just what you need before or between the dives to rest, sleep and freshen up. Just perfect for divers, hikers or adventurers on the beautiful East Coast.
It was a amazing experience for the first time in Fujairah to have a full apartment with a 5 stars standard. Ideal for families with full equipment

We liked our stay in the hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful - we were upgraded to room with better view and balcony free of charge. The hotel was clean, nice live music and staff at the bar did their best to provide best customer experience.
I liked the beach most. It was fascinating! And the mountain views!
The hotel has many attractions like a water sports center, several pools, splash play area for kids.
