Al Aqah is a small town, and worth traveling by road from the big cities. The drive through the desert and then through the mountains (literally at some spots - through the new tunnels) is enjoyable and not tiring at all. The city itself is small, however with all basic emergency services for visitors to feel secure.
Hearing crows in the morning was a wonderful surprise. Haven't met a lot of crows in uae.

Excellent hotel with great facilities, green area, nice activities and super cool entertainment program in the evening. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurants are cool but could be less expensive and with a better choice of food dishes.

Need to improve on quality of alcoholic drinks.. whiskey, vodka and beer were of very low quality.
Buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner was excellent. Should have added some more vegetarian dishes.
In bathroom, shaving kit and toothpaste was of very very very low quality.

Nice place during Jan-Feb-Mar. nearby hiking areas and long clean beach. Take a food box ( toast/ fruit/ vegetable/ cheese/ .. ) and cooking staff. Restaurants are busy and groceries in the area are not fully equipped and not recommended.

We were looking for a short break from the hustle and bustle of the city, having stayed at various hotels in Fuj. This one does not disappoint - overall a very relaxing stay, friendly staff right from check-in, a good pool, a quiet ambiance, and good food. It was truly worth the trip and we will definitely come back to the hotel again. P.S being an IHG member really helps on F&B
Mostly, everything ( places & staff ) in the hotel are awesome. The most thing I did like, quick check in, before 3pm so thanks to the front desk specailly ( Latifa ). Thanks to the room services , specailly the ( Chef ) for the delicious meals/dishes that were been prepared. All staff in the hotel are amazing, but I do like the ( Egyptians staff ) on the beach & in the breakfast time/restaurant.

My experience at Rotana Fujairah was truly delightful. The room was spacious, spotless, and incredibly cozy. The location was superb, offering a stunning beach view. The staff was exceptional, providing top-notch service. The hotel is newly built and equipped with the latest amenities. Overall, it was an excellent stay and I would highly recommend it to others. I look forward to staying here again in the future.
Went during the Eid holiday. The resort was full. Staff was not prepared. Rooms were not aired and smelled.

Food quality was bad compared to the value of money paid. Staff was short and was tired to overwhelmed with the number of guests so they were not professional

The hotel was extremely clean bed was comfy bathroom was extremely clean. Ac was super cold I liked it. View of the mountains was pretty aswell. We had the breakfast buffet addon which was delicious, the mushrooms were to die for. Parking is available. Alot of local restaurants near by if you don't fancy hotel food. Very fast check out exceeded all my expectations.

Very good Hotel on the Beach. Nice restaurants, Decent size pool, friendly staff. the property is bit old but well maintained. location is calm. there is an alcohol retail store nearby, which is handy if you do not want to pay the high price of alcohol at their bars.
It was a amazing experience for the first time in Fujairah to have a full apartment with a 5 stars standard. Ideal for families with full equipment

Very spacious rooms, recreation area is one of the best on the coast. Very rich and varied breakfast. Hotel staff is helpful and attentive. I liked that even though the hotel is large I hardly met any tourists either in the pool or on the beach.
I liked the beach most. It was fascinating! And the mountain views!
The hotel has many attractions like a water sports center, several pools, splash play area for kids.

True very good standard Intercontinental hotel. the bedrooms are large and well-appointed. Breakfast is very good with lots of choice. We will be coming back to stay again. The beach is wonderfully clean as is the warm Indian Ocean water
The facilities are great the location is amazing but the hotel staff and specially front desk people are really bad and not helpful at all, this is the second time we come here and the same staff that offers horrible service are here.
The apartment was exactly as described - very nice and comfy and close to the beach, pool and gym. Host was great and checking in was super easy. Would recommend to any family. The area is nice and the hotel facilities are top class.
Stay in this hotel was awesome, location is the best in UAE, very kind personal, nice, large family room, variety of food was excelent, amazing sea front restaurant Bahari grill with best seafood platter, I recommand it.
