The best hotel we have ever been to! The level of service is amazing and the staff are so lovely. A really big thank you to Ramiro who looked after us really well in the Glass Bar - you are a credit to the hotel and it was a pleasure to meet you! :)
The rooms were lovely, really spacious, and so clean with great facilities. The spa was also a really nice addition to our stay and very relaxing. The gym is also great - immaculate and spacious, by far the best hotel gym we have been to.
It was very quiet when we stayed (it's certainly set up for the winter ski season) so going in the summer months is great to really relax.
The included breakfast was also lovely - a big choice in a buffet and options to pick from the menu - perfect.
Hotel Himàlaia Soldeu is set in the centre of Grand Valira, 50 metres from the Soldeu Cable Car to the ski slopes. The hotel offers WiFi in public areas, gym and spa.

The location and the view when you leave the hotel, not from the room. The stuff was friendly. Clean room although very old.
Set in a stunning natural landscape in the north of the Principality of Andorra, with the Spanish and French borders nearby, this hotel is an ideal base to go skiing in the region.

In the middle of the mountains, it is great if you love skiing. In winter you can ski from the hotel door.
there are some restaurant for lunch and in the night there still some of them open but you need to book them in advance.
You have the vodka bar which is amazing for dinner and the Pessons restaurant which is great for lunch.
If you go in summer it is also great because you can hike a lot. But then you only have the hotel restaurant and Pessons for lunch.
Almost everything. A bit dark in the room and the lighting system is overly complicated , yet does not have normal reading lights. But the very few “no”s are well compensated by location ( we were in summer, with horrible weather +4 in the morning)) particularly for winter holidays as hotel is very close to lifts and …. The restaurant…!!! The food, presentation and quality is top!!
Breakfast and food in general was exceptional. The location is great. We were there in summer and there's great trails at the foot of the hotel. Before going to the trails near the hotel we went further away to see the biggest lake in Andorra, but the lake next to the hotel, even if smaller, is actually a lot more beautiful.
