Farovon is a lovely, homely affair with a very friendly family manning it. The three bedded room was quite spacious. It has 2 large windows giving great views of the main street. The room was very clean and had all the amenities. Breakfast was equally good. Upon enquiring, they guided us to an amazing fish (BALIK) restaurant. The fish dinner, in a local setting (international tourists usually don't visit this) was an extraordinary experience. They also helped us with taxis to reach/ return, which were cheaper than Yendex. Would love to return here for a longer duration.

Laundry is really cheap in comparison to other places in Uzbekistan and it feels like you rented a whole apartment.

The only reason that made me book this hostel was the rave reviews about Elsevar, the owner. And he didn't disappoint us. He arranged for a driver to pick us up from our hotel in Kokand to take us to Fergana with long stops in Richton. Since this was the first time he used this driver he was all the time on the phone with him giving him directions on how to take us to various ceramic workshops. The price was very reasonable.
He gave us very accurate directions on how to visit Margilon's market and the silk factory, not the one mentioned in the guidebooks that has a payed entrance even on Sunday when there aren't but a few people working.
He offered us some fruits.
He also payed for the taxi to take us to the bus station. We very much appreciated his help. That's the reason I give extra points.
Having a kitchen is a plus as you can use the fridge and the microwave. There are many pans and pots if you need to cook.
