Beautiful heritage building, tastefully renovated. We loved the location in one of the most beautiful streets of the medina, little coffee shops right next to it and close to the markets. The staff were very friendly and helped us arrange anything we needed from tables at bars to transport to our next destination. We were very touched when they left us their card telling us we can get in Touch if we happen to need anything throughout our travels in Tunisia. Also, we loved the olive oil soap in the bathroom.

My homestay hosts were very kind, generous and flexible, and over the week I had plenty of time to get to know them personally. We spent time over a good breakfast of eggs, pastries, bread and coffee, to sit and talk for a while - for a solo traveller this is much more interesting than just grabbing a croissant and sitting alone in a hotel lobby!
They also respected privacy and my own schedule. My room was of a decent size and much expanded by the generous terrace, which is great to relax in during early morning, and in the evenings. I was able to spend time in the common areas as if it were my own home too.

The apartment is ideally located in the centre - five minutes walk in one direction to the traditional north African Medina with interesting artisans plus great street food. It was very clean and very comfortable. Good working aircon and wifi. They also offer some snacks and water. The couple is extreme kind and lovely it felt like family . I am looking forward to come back as soon as possible.
