We loved Hotel Arcanjo. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. They made it a priority to get our room ready early after a long flight and they had great recommendations for food. Definitely try Borda d’agua for delicious fish right in Lagoa. The room was spotless and cleaned daily. The hotel was so central to all things we did on the island. The free breakfast was good! I would definitely stay here again!

The place was nice with nice views from the second floor. It has a nice patio that you can sit or eat when the weather permits. It was well equipped with everything you can have in a real house and also had a very homy feeling. Everything was in working order with no problem. The host was nice and accomodating.

The charm of the apartment is its spaciousness, proximity to the ocean and opportunities for walking along the ocean shore. The host provided a comprehensive overview of nearby attractions, restaurants and beaches. A gift basket was waiting on the table. For those who are not afraid of cold water, it is also possible to swim safely in natural pools during the winter months.

The vila was spacious, beautiful, had all the facilities, garden, terraces, all that a person might need during the stay. Unfortunately, since we had problems with the flight and bad weather we did not use it for all nights we paid, but it was something no one could influence. The communication with the staff was good, they were responsive and provided all the requested info. Location was great ( we spend most time outdoors). I would definitely return here and I fully recommend this place. Huge plus is the washing machine with the dryer ( they are the same). One small thing - I was told there would be some washing powder left but there was none. We managed with liquid soap. Almost no difference. So no big issue. We enjoyed it very much.
