The location is beautiful and Dona Laura was amazing and looked after us so well. She was able to tell us the history of the house and village and we thoroughly enjoyed the breakfasts she made as well. We would love to return again in the future and bring some of our family also.

Very nice place "in the middle of nowhere" where you feel history in every stone around and in walls.. Our staying was surprising and magic on the same time ! If you wish for few days totally free your mind and get plenty of fresh air -- it's exactly what you need ! Not surprised that some people stayed for longer once being in place ;-)) everything was just fine ! As well we all appreciated "local food" breakfast giving feeling to be at home. And we also did not hesitate to try a "local dinner" (you need to do your reservation ahead, because all the food is prepared and cooked locally the same day and on-demand only) -- and this was a true pleasure !!! So glad we stayed there ! One of the best memories about our vacations in Portugal !

Loved the host, who was tremendously kind & caring & made sure we had all we need. She even baked us some beautiful cakes. The property is well maintained outside & inside is clean, spacious & has all you need plus a little more. We loved the beds & bedding, the selection of arty movies, the additional coffee for the machine & the pleasing decor. It even has billiard table & darts so fabulous for the teens!!

We booked this apartment at the last minute when other booked apartments suddenly completely lost power. The hostess confirmed the booking instantly and was very welcoming. We are glad we ended up here on our way to Monsanto from Lisbon. This is a spacious, extra-clean, modern apartment with all amenities, freshly renovated, comfortable beds, modern appliances, fully equipped kitchen and air conditioning. We felt at home here.
