The host Maria was lovely, very helpful and kind. The apartment was clean and well looked after.
It was a room with a bathroom in a shared apartment which it didn't really state very clearly in the booking but it was very nice and we enjoyed our stay.

The location itself is convenient, between the busy center of Espinho and the beach, close to every corner. you just go out of the room into the corridor, open the door and there is the ocean. wide sandy beach, safe (guarded) and not crowded (September).
Refreshing water, it is not the same as in Spain or Algarve, but it allows you to cool down when the heat comes. Also a convenient place for surfers, there are even a few specialized schools.

Everything. Rooms immaculately clean. We stayed in two ten days apart. The hosts were more than hospitable letting me practice my Portuguese on them even though they spoke perfect English. Breakfasts were wonderful..A huge effort wasade to make us feel welcome. A great base from which to explore Porto and the surrounding area.

Friendly and very competent staff. Extremely clean and excellent location (3-4 min to beach, has a bakery and shopping street next door and yet is quiet as the rooms face away from the shopping street)

At the time we were there (October) a quiet location just a few doors from the sea, the coastal path and a 5minute walk from some really pleasant restaurants. A short walk, maybe a kilometer, from the railway station which, once you're got the CP app & ticket, provides a nice train ride into Porto - about 30mins.
My first time in Aguda do Mar, the Landlady was very friendly and polite, giving me advices about the localation . Mrs Maria make me feel very welcome as well .. I would recommend to everyone, Lovely stay and very clean house I must say...
Everything about this property is first class, location is perfect, apartment cleanliness perfect, size of apartment for 6 people perfect we could not fault anything. The apartment is only 100 metres to the beach, only 200 metre’s to a number of beachfront restaurants, only 300 metre’s to local shops and only 25 minute drive or 25 minute train journey to Porto for a lovely day out.
