Amazing location and the owners communication from enquiring about Sol Bungalows to staying in them was excellent and very informative. I was doing a tour of Panama with my 12 year old daughter and my older daughter and her partner so I was looking for a special place to stay and Sol Bungalows had it all. Drew and Tamara are exceptional hosts and have thought of everything to make your stay at Sol Bungalows an experience that you will enjoy and remember as they know the area and have great knowledge of what to do while in the area. The paddle boards, kayak and snorkels were great to make the most of the location even when it rains. Tamara can offer a massage during your stay which I would highly recommend. We had breakfast each morning during our stay and dinner which was presented beautifully and tasted fantastic. Fantastic few nights and the accommodation was amazing with a lovely welcome drink on the deck when we arrived so Thank you Drew, Tamara and staff for a lovely stay.

Este lugar es simplemente precioso. Meghan y Ryan son Mega ultrasimpáticos y atenciosos. Yoga Roam se encuentra en la isla Solarte que se ve muy virgen y cubierta de selva. Aun así se encuentra a unos pocos minutos en barco de Bocas del toro. Las habitaciones se encuentran en un jardín súper bonito. Creo que sin exagerar se podría considerar un pequeño parque botánico. Las habitaciones son súper limpias y cuidadas hasta el detalle y la cama muy cómoda. Desde la terraza se tiene una vista espectacular al jardín y al mar. Las habitaciones en vez de ventanas tienen una especie de mosquiteros muy transparentes y súper finos. Así se escucha el bonito sonido de las olas y la selva y entra una brisa agradable. Meghan y Ryan ofrecen un desayuno incluido y variado y una cena con un costo adicional. Ambos son simplemente increíbles. No puedo recomendar mas probar la cena allí. Es comida orgánica, sana y súper buena. No recuerdo haber comido tan bien en ningún hotel hasta ahora. Desde la Isla Solarte se llega rápido al red frog beach que es muy bonito. Además, hay corales justo en frente del restaurante para hacer snorkel. La sala de yoga también es espectacular con vistas a la selva y techos altos. La clase que hice con Meghan fue genial también. Punta Rica Lodge is nestled in the Bastimentos island jungle, surrounded by beautiful flora (trees, colorful flowers) and fauna (amazingly rich wildlife). We loved our super friendly, open, fun and helpful hosts, Brian and Daniel, who have made us truly feel at ease and among friends in this beautiful place. Most nights we ate dinner together, since Dan cooks the most amazing and varied dishes, all from fresh, local ingredients, while Brian makes wonderful cocktails that made us feel at home and among friends, sharing stories, dreams and travel adventures. We loved the pool and the common area (living and dining room), as well as our amazing suite, the delicious and fresh meals and the smiles. Thank you. It was one of the most amazing experiences ever.

Bungalow con vistas al mar increíbles. Lugar con mucha paz. Desayunos y cenas deliciosos. Anfitriones muy amables, te dedican todo el tiempo que haga falta para aconsejarte de los tours que puedes hacer. Recomendable 100%. Sin duda si volviera a Bocas del Toro, me vuelvo a alojar en Ataraxia!

Suyi & JJ are wonderful hosts maintain a clean comfortable Caribbean house. They made us feel welcome during our 4 nights. They live nearby & grew up in the village which reassured us. They also provided helpful general safety tips for the area. Communication was great. Suyi provided detailed directions with videos to find the house. It was nice that they both checked in with us throughout our stay to ensure we were ok whilst also respecting our space to relax. The house is a spacious 2 bedrooms; a nice change to staying in a hotel. It’s built on stilts & nestled in the path leading to the 20 minute jungle hike to Wizard beach. We were lucky with the climate - the jungle was dry and it was safe to swim (it can be known to be muddy with riptides). Life is colourful & lively amongst the local community. There are many things to observe from the balcony; the neighbours’ passion for music throughout the day, the animals, and the sea view. The spacious wraparound balcony was incredible to appreciate morning coffee. Other highlights: Big walk-in shower, wood flooring, dimmable ceiling lights, American fridge with filtered rainwater and ice maker. Good Wi-Fi connection, Spacious lounge with comfortable sofas. The AC worked well from both bedrooms along with the lounge ceiling fans. Hot water was great. We didn’t have cleaning/fresh linens during the 4 nights; but if we stayed longer we might have asked if it could be arranged. The kitchen is well equipped. The filter coffeemaker, cutlery, basic utensils/cutlery were useful even though we opted to dine out as to not invite jungle critters. Suyi’s mum also offers laundry service, and we booked our boat taxi with her father back to Bocas. The location is convenient. There are a couple of mini supermarkets within 5-10 minutes walk of the house. A handful of restaurants are less than 15 minutes walk, as is the main port for taxi boats.

All of the special attentions of Carmen and Marcel to make you feel at home. In our case, the special skills of Carmen to adapt breakfast and dinner to our special diet restrictions and alkergies. Then, obviously, the paradise view and decks to admire it. Also the free Kayak to vist surroundings. So, really great place.

hermoso el lugar, la habitacion que nos dieron tenia la vista al mar. Muy amable Keyla que nos ayudo en todo y la persona que nos orientaba todo el tiempo por whatsapp si necesitabamos algo. Estuvimos muy comodas, nos podiamos cocinar, todo funciono muy bien. Solo tuvimos problemas con el agua pero es porque hay faltante en la isla. Un lugar muy tranquilo con una ubicacion muy linda. Esperamos volver! Incluso me parece mejor que ospedarse en el centro de bocas , donde todo es mas ruidoso.
