A relaxing place to stay overnight, everything we needed was in the accommodation. A nice spacious place, which was clean and tidy. It was nice sitting outside on the balcony overlooking the river. Would happily return.

Peter and Sarah were very personable, happy to involve us in activities but not pressing the point if we declined. Easy to have a yarn with. The massage chair was most welcome. Bathroom facilities were great. The pets were delightful. If we had more time we could have had a tour of the farm and fed the alpacas.

Fantastic property - if you have to stay overnight in Dargaville, this is the property to stay. New - super clean - amazing host. Do not book in motels / hotel - this is it, central to everything and includes parking.
Working heat pump, great water pressure, quiet. I cannot fault it at all.

Lovely rural setting with grazing cows to watch; very close to interesting beach.
For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. Popular with backpackers, many properties can be found in central locations and include comfortable rooms with private or shared bathrooms. You’ll also find a number of options which feature a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
The house was very clean. Being surrounded by farm land means it was very quiet and very relaxing. A good place to stay for family holiday. The kitchen is well equipped and good lay out. I could watch my son play in the lounge while preparing dinner for us. The gate to the house can be shut so it was safe for my son to run around outside and ride his bike. Lots of space for the little one to play.
The location was very peaceful with a nice view overlooking the river. Nice chickens next door. The place had everything we needed - we'd been travelling for a while so we appreciated a modern washing machine, washing line etc and a well-stocked kitchen with all the equipment so we could cook proper meals. Everything in good condition. Great shower.
Nice to provide continental breakfast but would have preferred the milk and yoghurt to be packaged. Location was good, handy to the Kauri walks and Lakes - the cliff edge of the property was a surprise.
The location was perfect, the inside of the house was superb, the beds were comfortable, kitchen facilities were fantastic and the communication with the Hostess Karley was exceptional.
Chris and Roxanne welcomed us into their lovely home. they were very accommodating. the room was spacious and very clean. the location was ideal
for our travel needs. They respected our privacy and yet were open to a friendly chat. Breakfast was a much appreciated bonus.
