The hotel is near to the lake, but tucked away 100 meters in a small side street, and so much quieter than the busy main road. The owners are really friendly and helpful, it feels like being part of the family. You can see the mountains and the lake from the balcony. I stayed there for five days, and was very happy :))

If you’re coming back from a long hike in Nepal, this is the place to be. It’s impressive how all the staff feels very connected to the place and does everything to make you feel at home. You can find everywhere photos/ books about the story of Mingtang and how it all started. The garden is gorgeous and it’s quite silent, considering it’s in the city center of Pokhara. The owner is easily available and she can help you with everything, booking bus tickets, planning your day and suggesting restaurants. They make breakfast boxes in case you’re leaving early in the morning!

I had an incredible time in Pokhara! The convenience of Silver Oaks, along with the support from Mr. Dill (hotel manager) and the breakfast manager ( the girl in charge) really enhanced my experience. Our stay at Nanohana Lodge was great. We liked the room, the hot shower, the location and the friendly and helpful staff. Coming back after our trek felt a little bit like a homecoming.
