There are many acitivities that you can do (rent out sailboats, SUP etc.) And they have a cute cafe/bar right on the waterfront. There you also get your breakfast; you pre-order the breakfast the day before so you get exactly what you want and nothing gets wasted, we really liked that. This is not a five-star hotel, so don't expect that standard. But the room and the facilities were clean and in good condition.

Wonderful hosts. A beautiful rural setting on a working dairy farm. Central to Friesland lakes and countryside. Immaculately presented with 4 ensuite rooms leading on to individual terraces and a lawned garden. A cooked breakfast prepared for each of us based on our choices; plus a lovely selection of cereals, fresh fruit, breads, cold meats - perfect! Tea and coffee making facilties in our room was a welcome surprise. Ample parking for cars. Nothing was too much trouble.
