I loved staying here. The hotel is ideally located on the edge of a beautiful forest and nature preserve and the view of the small lake from my room was fabulous. It started raining slightly after I arrived, but it was only barely noticeable when I went for a walk under the trees. I let them know before I checked in that I would need to leave before breakfast (began at 08:00), and they brought me a small selection of breakfast items the evening before to keep in the fridge in the room. Some guests arrived late, around 23:30, and rang the bell which echoed throughout the building. The tall ceilings and wood floors let the sound carry, but thankfully the other guests were quiet besides that, and I slept really well. I would definitely stay here again.

A cosy and cool (temperaturewise) room when it was rather hot outside. Very tidy. All basics were provided: well functioning shower, organized waste bins for different types of waste, neat toilet, washing machine was available to those who need it, dishwasher hidden behind a cupboard door in the kitchen, refrigerator, wifi. The bed was good to sleep in. Sheep, three dogs, birds behind the window - these nature sounds are part of the place. The bakery 900 m away fron the house was a good resting place on my countryside promenade. I enjoyed my weekend in the countryside after a week of quite a bit of socializing with lots of people.

The location was great for us (conference at the new campus/8min by bike through a beautiful landscape), the location within the holiday park couldn't have been better (next to the bar/restaurant and pool area - yet surrounded by nature). The hosts were amazing: very friendly and welcoming and helpful at any request. Bikes were for rent (only 12,50 per day) at the holiday park which was only a 20min walk from the bus stop. So a car-free holiday is definitely possible and we consider coming back!
