A supermarket nearby, walk to town centre 20 minutes. Free toiletries, tea and coffee. Liked Aluksne, the lake and the place so well that extended my stay to 3 nights.

Apartment was clean and felt inviting. Host provided a number of useful items such as tea/coffee, toothbrushes, toiletries etc which we were especially grateful for after travelling. Apartment itself was lovely with a balcony to sit outside an extremely comfy bed! We arrived very late in the evening but the host contacted us beforehand so there was no problem gaining access to the property. Communication in general with the host was brilliant and we would definitely recommend it as somewhere to stay when visiting Aluksne.

Wonderful interior! The stay was absolute perfect, we had a slight Problem once with the Gas cooker and a few minutes after the Host was there to help and solved the Problem! Thank you for the great stay!
