We went specifically to see the museum and spend the night in the castle. It is located in a beautiful place on the high bank of the river. There is an old park where you can walk and also see the picturesque mill lake. There are also castles and manors nearby that you can visit - Padure, Aizpute.
There are two grocery stores within walking distance. In the castle itself there is a pub with tasty and inexpensive food.

The real apartments looks exactly how it looks in the photos. All new and nice, we liked the style of the apartments. Compact and very light. Interesting design of the apartments. The beds were fine, can't tell about noise isolation as we seems were alone in the house of 2 apartments.
Spacy bathroom, cute kitchen, and the furniture was nice.
Owner called me few hour before and have an instruction on how to get the keys.
