The bed is really huge and comfortable with a mosquito net, the AC in the room is working good and the bathroom was nice. Everything was clean and it was all decorated with a lot of love. In front of the entrance there’s also a place to sit outside or lie in a hammock. Nayeem the manager loves gardening and has a lot of different plants outside. We felt really welcomed from the beginning. Nayeem’s kindness and generosity is overwhelming! Also Ashib is very very kind! You can use the kitchen as well! The place is situated very good, you’re near the beach so you hear the waves breaking from the room and you’re near the Main Street (restaurants, markets, shops) but no too near so you don’t hear all the noise. We would definitely come again!

Nice place beach hotel was a pleasant surprise for us! Super close to the north tip of the bay/beach and convenient to get into the main strip with lots of options for breakfast and dinner. The host was super helpful and helped organise us a taxi and surf lessons. The room was spacious and had lots of places to hang all our wet things.

My stay at Aqua Blue was very pleasant. The room was spacious and clean and a lovely terrace where I could relax. Each day, I had the option to choose from a variety of breakfasts offered by the accommodation, which I really appreciated. The beach is just a minute away, perfect for a quick swim, and the town is only a short 5-minute walk. The host was extremely friendly and helpful, adding a personal touch to the experience. I would gladly stay here again!

Simply a 10. Super location, 5 mins walk from the beach and also very nearby all restaurants. The cabanas are very clean and there is plenty of room. Last but not least, the owners are really really nice!

Rooms are big, bed was comfortable, the cleanliness was 10/10 - they cleaned our room every day, changed the towels a few times - we loved the rooms and the bathroom was also clean. Overall the rooms are beautiful and spacious. Swimming pool was nice but a little bit small. We are very happy.

Set in the beginning of Arugam Bay, close enough to shops and restaurants but far enough that it is quiet and peaceful, Little Lagoon Hostel is a 3 minute walk away from the beach.

It was by miles thes best hostel I have stayed in my life and even better than most of the hotels. 1 the location is perfect, beach, elephants, restaurant are so close, yet the noise of the city does not reach the hostel 2 the property is pristine, people who work here look after it like if it was their home, everything is spotless, there are always flowers on the table, the trees and plants are lush, cats and dogs are looked after, everything is super clean 3 the amenities are highest class, the shower is beautiful, clean and has pressure, the bed in dorm is big and comfortable, every detail is high quality 4 breakfast is plentiful and delicious, food is cooked in the morning, fruit are fresh, jam is homemade, fantastic breakfast 5 the vibe is great, Mo creates a good vibe that attracts good people, everyone I met at this hostel were friendly and consciencious 6 reliable wifi, comfortable furniture, fan and shade allowed me to work from the hostel instead of going to the coworking place 7 Mo will organise everything you need safari, surf etc you also have free bikes 8 I could go on and on…it’s the place to be…it’s also sustainable and they care about environment

This place is a "pearl in the rough" ! It was like being in Bali twenty years ago with all it's rustic charm and eating the best Italian food out of Italy ! The owners could not do enough....the staff were friendly yet efficient. I celebrated a birthday there with a cake and beach bonfire....sublime ! And, a rarity, saw a beautiful Leopard on safari. Best birthday in 65 years !
