Really good location close to the national Park. We were originally supposed to stay in Green Sapphire but they let us down a few hours before we were due to arrive (seems they’ve done it a lot looking at the Google reviews), but the Mango Villa team had everything sorted even though we booked just a few hours earlier that day they were still able to organise 2 full day safaris for the following 2 days where we saw all sorts of great wildlife.
Staff are all really friendly, especially the man who brings the food across in the evenings (unfortunately I don’t know his name).
The food is good especially considering the remote location and nice packed lunches for the safari each day.
Definitely the place to stay if you’re planning a Wilpattu safari!

The staff here are amazing. We are driving a tuktuk and it broke down, they helped to get us started and to a garage. Very kind people.
The camp is beautifully done. The tents are spacious and well equipped. Two big comfy bed and a great fan. The bathroom is outside and also will appointed.
The viewing platform is a good addition, and the dogs will join you.
The lady in reception and at mals is very professional and friendly. She told us how to walk to the nearby lake to see wonderful wildlife. Its only a short walk.
The food was brilliant too. They arranged a private safari with naturalist and this was also amazing. We will come back 100%

The treehouse is super nice located. It feels like you are in the middle of the jungle. The owners are nice and helpful. The location is super quiet. We 10/10 recommend to stay there!
Perfect location! Within 5 mins drive to Wilpattu National Park. All the staff is super friendly and helpful. A big shout out to Henry. He was like a personal butler to us, arranged a safari tour for us and treated us like royalty. The Sri Lankan dinner was so delicious and generous. The room was clean and had a separate toilet to the bathroom. Love the pool, overlooking the padi field and sunset. Highly recommend this beautiful place.
Amazing location, the family is super friendly and helps with everthing. We even got a little guided walk to the lake by their son. The food was amazing, the safari for wilpattu was also arranged by them.
The welcome by the owners and also the other people in the village, the caretaker was so sweet and great service. The location was quite remote and amazing!
We had a great stay of 2 nights at Wild Edge! A pretty location with views over the field. Hashan and his wife made excellent Sri Lankan food for us which we really enjoyed. Hashan was also a great guide at a full-day safari for us, where we saw many animals, even leopards!
Perfect location to access wilpattu national park. The room is brand new with hot water and aircon, clean. Easy to speak with landlord by whatsapp, he was not present. The care taker of the property is super nice and does everything he can to help with his limited English but big smile!
Stayed here a couple nights for the Tuktuk Tournament. Excellent location for Wilpattu National Park. Very cheap!! Good and plentiful breakfast. We were sent with a packed breakfast on the morning of our Wilpattu NP safari which was appreciated. Under cover parking for our TukTuk.
