We loved our stay at il Frangipane. The rooms are very comfortable and the pool was great. The breakfasts are tasty and the staff are very friendly and helpful, they arranged a safari for us at minneriya national park which was an absolute highlight of our trip to Sri Lanka. Our safari guide Thilina was unbeatable. I would highly recommend staying here!

The hosts were very friendly, they were extremely helpful with great recommendations for things to do in the area and organised drivers/tuk tuks for us whenever we needed them. We stayed at Sithi’s place for two nights. He is truly an amazing host. Sithi helped us plan our days in Sigiriya, both in terms of activities and transport. He also arranged a pick up in Kandy and dropped us off at our next stay in Trincomalee. His wife Malsha made us delicious breakfasts, probably the best we had during our 3 week stay in Sri Lanka.
The room is very cozy and clean, and so was the bathroom. The room overlooks a small garden, where you can hear birds sing in the morning and spot an iguana walking past. The house is walking distance to the main road in Sigiriya where restaurants and bars are. Would highly recommend it!

Fantastic place, would go back in a heartbeat! The place blends perfectly with the nature and at the same time you have all the luxuries you need. we stayed at the treehouse and cannot recommend it more, we loved it. It's obviously an indoor-outdoor vibe, you hear the animals all night long, but what better way to experience the nature. The room is super spacious, the bed have protection against insects. The bathroom was a dream, again the indoor-outdoor vibe was wonderful! The food was delicious and the service fantastic. It's a 5min walk to start of the Pidurangala rock, and if you like a good walk also relatively close to Lion's rock (can also rent a bike, we forgot to do it)
