Amma is a superhost. She explained the bus, the shops in Kandy and possible excursions. A 7 minutes walk to the busstation and then within 10 minutes near the Temple of Tooth and town.was easy to do. The food was the best I had in Sri Lanka. The rooms are good and clean. The cold shower was fresh. A very special day was a visit to a school close to the guesthouse where I could give a donation. I would love to come back to stay.

The hotel is too far from the city center. There are no garage facilities. There was a terrible garage facility where you could really damage your car. There are no clean pillows and bedsheets. The room is very hot, No air conditioner, and there is a fan that cannot control the heat even through the night, so our night was like daytime in terms of temperature. The TV is not working. It's not worth the money. As a local traveler, I cannot recommend this to anyone.

The villa’s cleanliness was impeccable, and the hosts’ suggestions for activities helped me explore Kandy in ways I hadn’t imagined. The value for the quality of service and experience provided is exceptional, making every penny spent well worth it. While the evening dining options nearby were somewhat limited, it was a small trade-off for the peace and beauty the location offered. This minor aspect could not tarnish the overall brilliance of my stay. To anyone looking for a serene getaway with outstanding hospitality and natural beauty, this villa in Kandy is a perfect choice. This Excellent property is run by a couple. They are extremely efficient, pleasant and helpful. They go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. Food was great. Beautiful atmosphere inside and outside. Highly recommended. We will come again.

The view and location is amazing. Being surrounded by all the birds was so peaceful. The restaurants food is delicious and the breakfast everyday was authentic and delicious. The owners were so nice friendly and helpful. This place isn’t in heart of Kandy but easy short tuk tuk ride. I didn’t want to be right in town.

The property was clean and comfortable. The pool was immaculate and the view was phenomenal. The kitchen facilities were good. Danush was a great host. He collected us from the train station and got us started with a trip to the food shop. Then he left us to it unless we needed him which was perfect for us as we felt more private than other home stays we’ve been in. The location was perfect for us. A 5 min tuk tuk to the main city or can jump on a bus from the bottom of the hill. We loved Kandy and found plenty to do with our 3 children (9, 7 and 6) and would recommend a visit to anyone.
