I have just stayed at Heaven Hills Guest House and had a great time. The hotel offers stunning views from the balcony and is spotlessly clean. This quiet atmosphere makes it an ideal getaway. Moreover, the host is exceedingly sociable and considerate, thereby making the stay more individual. In addition, both breakfast and dinner were sumptuous with a range of delicious local dishes to choose from. Furthermore, the guest house is situated near Maskeliya town center which can be easily reached on foot. If you want to enjoy peace and comfort during your stay, then this is the place for you; I highly recommend Heaven Hills Guest House in that regard.

Wow, what a perfect stay! The manager was extremely caring and kind. He arranged accommodation for our driver and even provided my mother, who has mobility issues, with a lower room. He provided us with very useful information about the location and the possibilities for trips in the area, which are many. We had problems with leeches in the tea fields and he provided us with bottles of salt water to attract the leeches.
The rooms were really clean, no need for air conditioning and the wifi worked well.
We welcomed that there is good drinking water here.
The view from the terrace is fascinating and very relaxing.
The breakfast was excellent and the portions were really big. Dinner also ok. The shrimp provided (pictured) was a highlight.

I was volunteering at Tea Leaf Trust, so the location was great as it was walking distance. But the best part about this place was the people. Shirone and the uncle took such food care of me and my grandma, made us feel right at home. She also cooks amazing food so we stayed and ate there the whole time! They are such beautiful people, really looks after us and the community.
The Farm Resorts is located on the shores of the Castlereigh Lake in Dickoya. The Resort has barbecue facilities and terraced garden, and guests can enjoy a meal at the a la carte restaurant.

Really friendly hosts. They made us tea and some snacks for the night where we walked to the Adams Peak. The room with balcony was also nice. Totally recommend it.

You’ll also find a number of options which feature a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
The location is easily accessible from the main road and parking is available. The view is exceptionally beautiful. The family room we booked is spacious, clean and comfortable. We were warmly welcomed and host and the staff were friendly and helpfull and did the maximum to make our stay enjoyable.Surely they know what they are to do. Meals were delicious. The hospitality we received is best. Definitely worth the money spent. Would visit again.

We loved the hosts, Ishara and Yudantha. They were so friendly and helpful. They made our stay special. The food really tasty and they were always accomodating to our needs.
The location was also excellent and had beautiful views of Adam’s peak.
We stayed there 2 nights and it was lovely. Owners were such a cute family and always smiling to us. Owners mother cooks delicious food and brings to you with open heart. Room was good and cozy, with hot water and air conditioner. Hotels location was perfect, buses to Adam's Peak or Hatton was right in front of it. Also owner was really helpfull. Highly recomended!
Beautiful location right on the lake. Maskeliya is a lovely little town with a lot of great things to do in the surrounding area (Sri Pada, tea plantations, Gartmore Falls). Mountain View rooms were spacious and well equipped.
Ishara and her husband, Yugantha, were fantastic hosts - they took care of our every need (e.g., organising transport, tours, food preferences), always with a smile on their face. Yugantha’s food was always delicious, especially his rice and curry.
This hostel was one of my favorite stays in Sri Lanka, the host family were very friendly and lovely, the rooms were very clean and airy, and the beds were comfortable to sleep in. By the way, the omelette and vegetable soup cooked by the hostess are delicious, don't miss it! If you come to this town, choosing this hostel must be the right decision.
The host (young guy) was very nice, made us feel comfortable & welcomed on arrival. The place itself is lovely with a balcony overlooking the hills & a spacious double bedroom with ensuite bathroom. Everything was very clean. The host gave us an extra drying rack to hang out some wet clothes we had. The location is very good, we did a tour of the beautiful lake & waterfalls by tuk tuk which was incredible (the views!) We also had dinner here (kottu) which was very tasty & affordable price.
