It was a good place where we stayed. The staff treated us very well. The rooms are very clean. You can get bicycles for free to tour the city. We came here by taking a taxi from them and it was very cheap. We also booked a safari from them. It is very amazing. The driver is very good. We were very happy and we saw all the animals. We also saw leopards. If you want to see leopards, go on a full day safari. We recommend full day tour.

The staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful. They strive to make guests happy and welcome. Everything is spotlessly clean. They organised a safari tour for us which was fantastic. We even managed to see a sloth bear. Food was good and the pool was a treat at the end of a hot busy day.

Everything. The place is amazing inside, very quiet and peaceful. The host is more than a beautiful person, so friendly, caring, and always responsive. I arrived yo another hotel by mistake since they have similar names and she called me to ask when I will be there. I explained to her that I got confused and I was in the wrong place and she had so much understanding about the situation and got worried that something may have happened to me. The hospitality of this place is just unique. The room was exactly as the pictures shown. Spacious, super clean, clean sheets and big bathroom, all new constructed and in perfect condition. There was a balcony with a wonderful view in the forest, coffee, a kettle, and cups to have your coffee im the morning, laundry service, food delivery at your room, and a fridge. There was hot water, very rare in Sri lanka, good water pressure, and place to hand your towels and things on the bathroom. WIFI was good, considering that you are in a Forrest and you can book the safari with them, better do it through your host they know they best guides!! Overall, it'd one of the best places I have stayed world-wide and with better quality and service from most of the 4 and 5* hotels I have been to, with a very reasonable price.

One of the best places we stayed in Sri Lanka. Owners are extremely nice and hospitable. They picked us up at the bus stop by car and we were given cold king coconut uppon arrival and the owner also opened it for us later so we could eat the part inside. The room is nice, fully equipped with kettle, mugs, tea and coffee provided. Mosquito net is also present. AC worked flawlessly same as the fan. Everything was spotless clean. Hot water in the shower available. We ordered dinner that was prepared by the owners and it was simply amazing. We had Chicken and Dhal curry with coconut milk being poured on the rice. Absolutely fantastic. We were also given some complimentary fruit after dinner. Make sure you eat at this place! They organised the safari for us and we didn't have to do really anything. Price was 55 USD for half day and 72 USD for full-day (08/2024). Originally we went for half day but then we extended for full-day. Owners were so nice to let our things in the room and didn't charge it! Our safari driver Asanka was great, he has 18 years of experience in Yala and made sure we saw everything including leopards, elephants, pumbas, bambis, crocodiles, buffalos, lizards and even a bear! He really has eagle eyes. The owner gets up early to serve you a tea and coffee at 4:15 before your safari trip. Just incredible! We were also dropped back to the bus stop in the evening and they made sure we got on the proper bus to Hiriketiya (Dikwella). The value you get for your money here is incredible. I'm telling you, if you don't stay at this place, you'll make a great mistake!

Beautiful location, close to two of the lakes. We had a lovely stroll in the afternoon and early evening to go watch the fruit bats and birds. A/C worked well. Very friendly hosts. The guesthouse is cheap compared to others in the area; dinner was also cheap.
