Il Roseto is a little hidden gem. Our Hostess. Loredana, was very helpful and friendly. She had a very nice breakfast prepared for us. The setting is beautiful. We would definitely recommend Il Roseto.

A very good location for our needs. Conveniently located for restaurants and cafes and gelato(! Weather was very hot then). Due to flight delays we arrived at 2:30 in the morning but the person who met and greeted us was so accommodating and helpful. We were so grateful for this. The apartment had all the facilities for an extended stay although we did not use any since the cafes and restaurants met our needs. We just brought home our dirty laundry.

The staff was great and very helpfull. The room very comfortable and spacious. The food, incredible! We booked it because it was relatively close to the Cosmoprof Fair we were attending and all hotels in Bologne were fully booked. It was a 25 minutes drive, which was good enough for us. The road to and from the hotel is in very good conditions and not a winding one; quite straight, no curves (I get car sick), so for me, the trip between hotel and the fair - perfect! The hotel is located in a small village, all surrounded by fruit trees, all green (April - May), so coming back in the evening was a great place to relax after a very long and hard day of business meetings.

We highly recommend this B&B location. Our hosts were special people. Right away we felt like family. They were very helpful with suggesting restaurants, points of interest in the area as well as travel directions. Breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. The room was comfortable and spacious and the house itself is beautiful, surrounded by a lovely garden. We were sad to say goodbye.

I was amazed by the service. The team made sure I had my keys even though we arrived during the night. The rooms were very clean and very well decorated.I loved it. It was also very quite.

Barbara the owner is literally the greatest person on the planet. She was amazing x 1000. So kind. So informative. So authentic. From start to finish of our 8 days we were taken care of. Our flight was delayed and we arrived many hours post check in. She didn’t mind and even had pizza waiting. The house is about 3 miles to the train. So mot walkable. But she helped us call a taxi (only 2 in town) or drove us. But a car is probably preferable. No noise. No TVs. Wonderful. The rooms were great and bathroom was huge by European standards. But really it was the ultimate kindness this family showed ours that made this stay worthwhile times 100. Barbara even drove us to her favorite ice cream shop. And if you can take Barbaras pasta making class don’t hesitate. It was best day of our trip and best food and we visited 6 cities. Everything is a short train away. 20 min to Bologna. 20 to Modena 30 to Parma. Hour to Florence. 2 hours to Venice. The location is awesome. Its a farmhouse so expect roosters as your alarm clock. But it doesn’t get more authentic than this Acetaia. A thousand thumbs up.
