What a wonderful stay and great hosts! I needed somewhere that I could relax, walk to places around town to visit, and plus get a little work done. This place checked all the boxes for me. Simple room with comfy bed, private bathroom. Coffee and cornetto each morning just a stroll down the road. Was sorry to leave!

Friendly, outgoing, happy, highly experienced with the region and with enhancing visitors' experiences, she made this stay perfect, enough so that we'll return in a week or two. She met us at the door and let us check in a little early -- gave us the tour of the property and explained operation of everything in our room and bath and elsewhere in the facility. She speaks Italian and English well and has the patience to help out those of us struggling with Italian. Highly recommend a stay here for both the beauty of Abruzzo and for the pleasure of a few days at La Villa.

The owner, Cesidio, is a truly lovely man who is attentive to his guests. The property is really clean and well equipped with all you need to cook. Wifi is great. Right in the centre of Pratola, with a great bar and pizzeria within walking distance. Pratola is a great location, easily accessible to Rome-Pescara motorway, and near some incredible hill towns. There are also plenty of supermarkets in the area. My favourite trip was to the (free) museum of confetti in Sulmona, so interesting and quaint!
