Casa Petra is a beautiful and unique place to stay. It is ideally located to make day trips to the surrounding attractions, but perfect too for some time out. We spent a few happy days enjoying the lovely pool and spacious apartment, with our kids exploring the gardens and fruit trees in the company of the family dogs. The amenities on site also include a tennis court, table football and table tennis, and the property is in walking distance of a rural village with an excellent pizzeria and a bar for breakfast or aperitivi. Finally, the hosts. Casa Petra is an exceptional place because it is the home of Giorgia & Mario. The property has been renovated with great care and knowledge. Giorgia & Mario have a heightened sense of hospitality and will know when to leave you to a book, and when to engage you with their extraordinary interests, collections, and expertise. They could not have been kinder during our stay; we are very grateful, and hope to visit again.
