Beautiful property with spotless, delightfully decorated, rooms & an amazing rooftop area looking down river at the mountains. The location was, for us, better than Dal lake as it was quieter, connected to a lovely riverside walking path, and yet right by the main market area and heart of the city. The owner is such a lovely man who genuinely cares about interacting with his guests and the property itself. A property passed down the generations always adds some real soul to the place. I really cannot recommend this place enough - it's perfect for chilling and doing nothing for a few days, or using as a base to explore all the awesome beauty the surrounding area has to offer! We stayed there and gave a review before. We had another stay after that when we returned Srinagar for the flight. And he remembered us, he make an effort to improve the room base on my review before. We appreciate that. He also offers cheap taxi to airport which is 400 rupees cheaper than the price at the taxi stand. I wish I know the driver earlier because we have paid a lot to travel in Kaskmir by taxi.
