Basically everything! Claire and Chris are wonderful hosts. The rooms are amazing, really big with a comfortable bed. The breakfast could not be better, there are also a lot of vegetarian options. Moreover they gave us recommendations where to go and told us a lot about the history of the towns nearby.

This is a regular castle with a real family living in and renting rooms. In a castle. I somehow missed this fact when booking the place. I thought it was a hotel called castle or a castle converted into a hotel but here we are, staying in a regular castle with a peacock in the garden and a pony walking around and welcoming guests. Plus a regular knight's armor in the corridor. The host is extremely kind and friendly, very helpful and providing interesting information about the history of the place and attractions in the area. The price was very reasonable for a magical stay like this. It would be lovely to stay longer.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was spacious and the beds were comfortable. The owner was very responsive and we loved the fresh flowers and muffins that were on the table when we arrived. It was also nice to see the donkeys through the kitchen window as I drank my coffee in the morning and again when we went outside to the back of the house. The three bathrooms were also a big plus and the Smart TV in the living room was appreciated by my kids. I would stay here again.
