Beautiful location on the edge of Glengarrif beside the river. Ivanka, our hostess, was friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. She served a a tasty and filling breakfast overlooking the river, juice, porridge, fruit, scrambled egg, toast and freshly baked croissants.

The room was really well designed and cozy. The bed was very comfortable. It was great to be self sufficient, Siobhan was very helpful and even accommodated our coffee snobbery by providing a cafetière when asked.

There were scones, butter, jam and fresh milk left in the cabin on arrival which was a very nice touch. The views from the cabin were lovely. It is a very peaceful place.

You need to meet the host to get in so therefore you need to know your arrival time. We had to change our time but the host was happy to facilitate that. The host made communication easy. There is NO key box and there are a flight of steps to the property that we were not aware of but it made no difference to our stay..
The host left a great selections of food in the house which we totally enjoyed. The beds and pillows (especially) were super. Good quality items in the house.
