The location was amazing for a getaway from the city life, this is the perfect spot. Great hiking trails all around the location. The food was amazing, but it's probably a good idea to tell them in advance if you have food allergies. Both the breakfast and dinner had multiple, very delicious options. The staff was amazingly helpful and kind, they assisted us with everything and even helped figure out a way to pay the extra we did not anticipate. (dinner :) ) The rooms were very warm (winter) we could even dry our clothes/boots after a daily hike. They were also very cozy.

Also: outside there is a fire pit where you can make your own bonfire or even attempt a Pörkölt with the provided cauldron. The apartment itself is very nicely done with lots of attention to detail. Everything was clean and well maintained. The host was very friendly via messaging and check in and out was easy via lockbox access. You’re in the heart of Lillafüred and you have all of its attractions at your fingertips and all of Bükk national park within driving distance.
