The Villa Hotel basically consists of the second floor of a restaurant in the middle of the park. It is a bit old-fashioned in an exceptionally charming way and seems a bit like "grandmothers living room" in the best sense. In other words: expect a bit "cozy/plushy", and not "modern design"-y. Staff is wonderful and helpful, breakfast buffet is good and offers all that one would expect from a four-star hotel. Definitely an excellent option when living in Debrecen, be it for leasure (thermal spa "across the street", city center 10min by tram), or if you visit the university. A detail that I really appreciated: the hotel left another key card in the electricity switch, which allowed for leaving aircondition on, if necessary, even when leaving the room. Given that the rooms are directly under the roof, this is a real incentive on hot summer days.

I stayed at this apartment, and overall, it has some great positives. The location is excellent, the mattresses are comfortable, and the kitchen is well-equipped, including an automatic coffee machine. It also has air conditioning, and the apartment is very quiet with no noise disturbances. Szilvia came right away to replace the showerhead, which was in bad shape, and the sheets and towels were clean.
Only 800 metres from Debrecen’s main square, Euro Panzio offers rooms with free WiFi, en suite bathroom and a TV set. You can hang out in the common room, equipped with a TV and DVD player.

Of course I liked the house and it was 10 out of 10. When I booked the house price was 18€ and that’s it! When I arrived the owner said he doesn’t except payments through booking.com. Only cash! And he said that cheap price is only for Ukrainian refugees (there was nothing about that when I booked) So I ended up paying extra 50€ in cash, since I didn’t have any other places to go with my family. Owner spoke only local language and it was difficult to understand each other as well since my translation app didn’t work.
Good location, easy to access, good layout of accommodation and facilities. Went for a work trip so better than a hotel for ease of movement and accessibility.
