Nikos the owner is as accommodating as you will find any other Greek, always on hand for any queries or questions that you have. The property itself is basic but has the essentials that you need to enjoy your stay other than something to wash up with, air con was super cold which was needed during 40 degree days and 26 degree nights and the property was cleaned regularly Make sure you go and have a couple of cocktails in the evening during happy hour, the Niko's Special is a decent drink and as always it's free pour measures, make sure you ask to see the old Photos when the hotel used to be the only one there

We had a great vacation in this typical Cretan village - Piskopiano. Access from the airport is very easy - there is a direct bus to Hersonissos for 3.5 euros per person, and then you can take a taxi, which depending on the negotiation with the driver, can cost between 6-8 euros. From the property down to the resort area of Hersonissos you can walk. It is an easy path through typical vegetation and olive groves. As for the property, it is a place full of greenery where you can find a 7-meter-tall Monstera deliciosa among other plants. The location is set in a panoramic area, away from the noise of Hersonissos resort area, and close to some of the most popular taverns *with great Greek food at affordable prices) and bars, just after the corner of the property. It is worth trying this experience, especially for the clean air and breeze that makes a difference. On hot days, we used the pool, which had crystal-clear water. The room service was excellent - we received new towels and linens every two days. The rooms were cleaned daily. We also received a fairly substantial breakfast. The host, Dimitris, is a super host, a very kind person, eager to provide information and useful tips.
